Rush said the only purpose of last night’s speech was to set Obama up to look good in 2012, to firm up his foreign policy credentials. He argues it was never meant to be a foreign policy speech and if you are analyzing it that way you are missing the big picture. Whether Qaddafi stays or whether he goes, Obama now has a stake in both outcomes. Of course when all else fails, he can always blame Booooooosh!

Rush explains:

this should not surprise anyone, this is who Obama is, your typical dodgy, two-faced politician.

Not a fan of barry.

But I hope ga-daffy stay's in power.

Just so barry looks dumber than he usually does.

OMG! Now it all makes perfect sense. Rush is starting to scare me. This sounds like the ONLY reason Obrainless would make such a huge military move.

Rush is right. Everything the big O does is all about him. He just doesn't care. Not about you, me or this great Country.

God help us.

Nobody reads the Left like Rush can. I think he's spot on. I would take it one more level though. It was a victory speech for Professor O'Barry. In the minds of his followers the Libyan war is as good as settled and they are ready to move on. Even though we are still bombing, O'Barry gave them closure "OK, he's got it under control, now what's for dinner? "

Whatever happens form now on is anti-climactic.
