George Soros is the reason the Koch bothers have been targeted. And it’ll work like it always does.
The difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals don’t care what conservatives say about them and their benefactors. Conservatives are Evil. If anything, conservative attacks and criticism of George Soros only makes liberals love him more and makes them defensive on his behalf.
Conservatives, on the other hand, are pansies who throw other conservatives under the nearest bus at the first sign of any controversy no matter how manufactured and untrue it is. Hell, conservatives don’t even wait for the nearest bus to come along. Conservatives will drive the nearest Pinto over another conservative to show how they got to it before all those other conservatives got the bus started. And then, of course, all the conservatives in the bus have to make sure all the other conservatives know they were on it.

Evil? Check out soros’ history then get back to us.

Try increasing your attention span to read an entire post. If it still doesn’t make sense I’ll explain: liberals have targeted the Koch brothers because of the attention George Soros has been getting from Glenn Beck. As usual, a liberals only real defense against any criticism is to find something they think is just as bad, or worse, on the Right to compare it to. Islam bad? Christians just as bad. Kerry was a lying opportunist? Bush was an imbecile dry drunk moron puppet of Dick Cheney when he wasn’t an evil genius who allowed 9/11.
They had to find some conservative equivalent of George Soros. They lucked out. They found brothers with a great last name that was easy to remember and ridicule.
And it will work. My guess is the Koch brothers have already been dropped by many people who don’t have the balls or backbone to stand with them. Ridicule is a powerful weapon against conservatives.
Liberals can’t be ridiculed because they’re too busy being offended.

And yet the reincarnation of the Third Reich, lunatic-left d-crat socialist BILLIONAIRE sugar-daddy george soros, is NEVER EVER mentioned in the lamestream socialist fake-news media.

Actually I believe they just interviewed him last week.

That wasn’t an interview sir. That was a commercial. See the difference?

Yes, because the left are a bunch of 10 years and think a prank phone call is funny and a diss, the losers a Huffungton Post are posting this stupid prank as if it were news worthy , well when you have the maturity of a child , which compromises the left then you find a prank of phone call news worthy.

You’ve heard of George Soros but never heard of the Kochs ’till now? Are you new to the U.S., or just to “journalism”?
- http://twitter.com/SumErgoMonstro The Monster
A righty prankster would have trouble with this, because everyone knows what George Soros sounds like. And the real Soros would be able to tell the lefty being pranked what his Employee ID Number is; it’s right there on the check stub.

The Koch brothers are awesome. There’s nothing wrong with spending money to spread ideas you care about. They’re more libertarian funders than anything. If I had billions of dollars, you better believe I’d pump a lot of it into pro-liberty causes.
If they were spending money to get subsidies from the government or something I could see the hate. But they’re supporting organizations that want to eliminate corporate welfare. A lot of the things they’ve funded probably seem like money pits to most people, like supporting the Libertarian Party in the 80s or funding the publishing of some obscure book about waste disposal privatization. The libertarian movement would not be what it is now without these guys.

The Koch’s are long time residents of Wichita. They are the children of a Multi-Millionaire. They inherited the private company, drastically increased the size and value of their company and they are now Billionaires. I used to work with a childhood/college friend of the Koch kids and he speaks glowingly of them. I met the wife of one of the Koch’s a couple of months back at a awards banquet shortly before the last election. (they sponsor a program called YEK (Youth Entrepreneurs Kansas)
I shook her hand and sincerely thanked them for what they were doing and while Obama was paying attention to them, we the public (I never claimed to be shy or introverted) would be getting the job done.
I am convinced they do not take the attacks and liberal hatred lightly.
What is the bottom line?
Kennedy= Rich kids coasting on daddies money
Koch= Rich kids building on daddies dreams.
It’s that simple. - http://www.theancient.us The Ancient
That is what I really admire about them….
They took their Family business and grew it 100x over, Infact I dont even think the business is in the same industry (if they are it is a minor part) as it was originally.
That ane the fact they keep the business private, IMO a big problem with government and business is the combination of Public Companies and Institutional investors

GJ Pinks said: Koch= Rich kids building on daddies dreams.
Ah yes, Daddy was …Fred Koch…who got rich off government contracts for the oil business in Russia. The same Fred Koch who then helped found The John Birch Society. The same Fred Koch who loved Mussolini, and hated the American Civil Rights movement. The kids have built on daddy’s dreams really well…they have become billionaires, started the Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute, Americans for Prosperity, and last but not least have co-opted the Job well done kids!

I was doing some online research and stumbled across this site. There seemed to be a lack of knowledge about the Koch brothers so I just thought I would help you all out. So tell me, exactly, what part of my first comment is a lie.
Who is George Soros?

“There seemed to be a lack of knowledge about the Koch brothers so I just thought I would help you all out”
Before I answer your question about the accuracy lets address this post. You didn’t mention anything about this generation of Kochs that wouldn’t fit Libertarian philosophy. What’s wrong with personal support of causes in which you believe? You did mention some negative things about Fred Sr. – where is your documentation. I would greatly appreciate knowing what your sources are.
“Who is George Soros?
This would take a book sized post. There are actually at least 2 George Soros – one the media paints for you and the real one. If you are going to research him, go back in history to just before WW 2, when he was a teenager and start there. Get as many items in his own words as possible. It will be an eye opener.
And now to give you a short answer to “…what part of my first comment is a lie”
I am personally acquainted with one of the four brothers and his family. Not only are the four sons different from each other with their own philosophies, they were all different from their father. They respected him, as sons should – they just didn’t see the world as he did.
“…co-opted the tea parties for their own plutocratic purposes.”
I will not dignify this statement with a response.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with personally supporting causes one believes in. Of course I do the same, as I would assume you do as well, whether we are talking political or social causes.
After rereading my first post, I realize I was unfair on 1 point, and misleading on another about Fred Koch Sr., and for that I apologize to his family and to the readers here. I should have specified that the government contracts he had were with the Soviet government, not the U.S. government. Also, I did not mean to imply something other than respect and admiration for the fascist Mussolini that he described in his book: “A Business Man Looks at Communism”.

Thank you for your response and list of sources.
Something you may not have thought of is that in Fred Sr. time it wasn’t unusual for people to have serious discussions about communism comparing it to other political systems. This was before it was known to be dictatorial and bloody. I remember my father and grandfather have such discussions. Although I was very young at the time, I loved listening to their ‘world talk sessions’.

I have never heard of the Republican Koch bothers either, because the Koch Bothers ARE NOT REPUBLICAN, they are libertarian .
Koch Brothers also co-founded the CATO institute and are Major Donors to many of the Top Libertarian Causes.
- Marti17
Could it be they do as a lot Libertarians – find the candidate/cause that is closest to the Libertarian philosophy and support them? If that happens to be Republican – so be it.
- http://www.theancient.us The Ancient
That is true, they donate to republicans as do alot libertarians, that does not make them Republican.
I sure they have support democrats in the past too, on social issues most libertarians agree a lot with democrats “stated positions” (not really their practising ones though).
Both Parties for far far far far far far far far too much for “big government” on their perceived “evil” (democrats = making money, big companies, management etc / republicans = drugs, sex, gambling, other “immoral” behaviour)
Me, I just want people to leave me the hell alone, if what I am doing does not directly cause you harm or defraud you in some way it is none of your business what I do with my time or my money.

Hooray for the Koch brothers.
Most of the American people get it that soros and leftist friends try use the Alinsky strategy on anyone that loves America and our Republic. The gig is up soros!
For those of you who have never heard of the Republican donors, the Koch brothers, you aren’t alone. I had never heard of them until all these lefties started preaching against them as if they were Satan incarnate. You see the name ‘Koch’ on lefty signs everywhere, whether it be in Madison or DC. They are the new boogie-men on the Right. David Koch, by the way, founded Americans for Prosperity which Obama mentioned several times last year as one of his enemies. I’m not sure but it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s when the lefty attack dogs went after them.
In any case, a Lefty ‘journalist’ called Gov. Scott Walker impersonating David Koch and recorded the conversation. I guess they thought that Scott Walker might show a different face behind the scenes to a Republican donor than he does to the public. But according to Rush, Walker said the same things to ‘Koch’ as he does to the public. In other words, he’s a man of integrity and principle and the Left really got nothing else out of the phone call other than to say Walker talked to a Republican donor, which is to say nothing at all.
Rush fills you in on the Koch brothers and this phone call:
UPDATE: If you want to hear the actual recorded conversation, you can get it here.
