Dear Aristide, Thanks for calling me hopeless, but it is you that is hopeless because you think you need the government more then the government needs you..We would of all quit our jobs if we had waited for the government..the bridge was out for almost a year , we found alternate routes., we cut down the trees with our chainsaws, we rebuilt the roads with our tractors..we rebuilt our businesses , private businesses ourselves..The only hopeless people are the ones who wait around for the government to do something. People come to these sites in the middle of the night , like your leaders closed doors on holidays, with no others to argue with them, No Debates your dear leader says..that's not how it works..You wish we were hopeless.. we would be so much easier to control..
They've had relief concerts, they've had the left wing anti-American media making fun of Mitt Romney for donating food and other supplies, they've had private donations, they had Governor Christie kissing Obama's backside and praising him for his efforts and yet still, there are pockets of people who can't get ANY help, or attention (the majority of them must be white).
Maybe if conservatives go in to these areas and help (which they should anyway), the media will get indignant enough to report on the plight of these poor people. After all, liberals can't really be bothered to care about someone, unless there's a vote at stake.
Rush is so right. I saw a clip from my niece yesterday probably the same clip Rush is talking about. Her and her sister suffered extensive damage from Sandy. Our cousins who were also hit a second time after fixing up last year from Irene, this storm did even more damage to their home. There is so much devastation and DC does nothing about it but create diversions and abandon the real issues. I pray for all those who suffered damage from Sandy, thank God we were spared and are so close to others who really got hit bad.
Despite all this, they will still vote for the Democrat in the next election..."because they care".
Kind of gives new definition to the term "useful idiot".
The fact that Staten Island is red explains everything. When Calif was going through an electicity crisis, the Bush administration showed no interest in helping. Like Obama said, elections have consequences.
Help is available only if the lazy Sandy victims get up and seek assistance. What are they waiting for, the "Help" wagon to roll down the street ringing a bell? With all the Federal assistance available it's their own lack of effort that lands them cold, homeless and hungry. Just like i tell my children, get up and make it happen. Don't sit around waiting for anyone or anything. Lazy!
the federal government cannot do anything....cannot anyone understand this?....all they can do is bankrupt the country
Can you just imagine if Bush was ignoring Sandy victims like Obama is, the non-media would be running it reel to reel, 24/7. What a hypocrisy with the non-media.
I live at the NJ shore. It is true that very little Federal Help has arrived in NJ and NY. To date the Senate has not voted on the Sandy Bill they authored. Many homes, businesses are destroyed. We are the forgotten folks who were used by Obama in his bid for re-election. Staten Island in NY has been particularly hard hit. People living in tents. No electricity or running water. Wolfie's correct. It is under the bus time for Sandy folks.
Even funnier is that immediately following the floods, and immediately prior to the elections, Dems were star-struck by the Christie-Obama love affair.
Now that reality has returned - Christie is the villain, while Obama gets a pass.
Now that's Dem/Lib's mentality for all to see.
somebody wanna tell this suffering residents that Obama doesn't care about white people.
We would have non-stop coverage every night just like they did with the Iraq war and Katrina.
Remember Katrina? ;-)
Remember how the the (Democratic) Gov. of Louisiana and the (Democratic) Mayor of New Orleans managed to skate most of the responsibility for the mess that happened in the 'Chocolate City'. ;-) ;-)
I can assure you that 100% of the blame should have fallen on their feet and not Bush's. They ignored the previous governor's (a Repub) evacuation plans, did not go through the proper channels for receiving federal help (the federal government cannot just step into a state without these channels), by the time they went through the channels it was a disaster, I could go on and on.... The only regret Gov. Blanco said she had, was not changing her party affiliation to Republican so the few things that did stick to her would have been blamed on the Republican party!
Unfortunately, sometimes people have to suffer in order to move forward and undo mistakes. In this case, it's the "Sandy" victims. If enough people suffer under this pathetic excuse of a "President", perhaps they will begin to see through his charade and realize how ill informed they were when they pull the lever for the incompetent man-boy.
You forget that in a socialist utopia, problems don't exist and the government never makes mistakes.
Katrina hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast and destroyed almost everything in it's path...nothing left, not even 200 yr old trees. The media covered New Orleans, which wasn't directly hit, but barely a word on MS. Before the storm, Bush offered help to LA Gov. Kathleen Blanco (D) who declined and did nothing. BTW, by law, the President may NOT send help unless the Governor requests it. MS Gov. Haley Barbour (R) had begun preparing weeks ahead. The MS counties which declined federal help, helped each other, and are largely recovered. The counties which asked for federal help are mostly still waiting. Same for LA parishes. Also, the utility companies throughout the Southern States exchange clean-up crews whenever we have trouble. Those same crews headed to NJ to help immediately after Sandy. They were told to "go home, you aren't UNION!" So Thank the UNION LABEL!
Those of us who live down here in the south know that Miss. and Ala. took a far worse beating that Louisiana did but the rest of the country doesn't, thanks to the (liberal) media.
The Gulf of Mexico states gets hit by hurricanes frequently. Hurricane Katrina victims of New Orleans were your typical government dependent citizens. They were the ones the media had on TV repeatedly. The woe is me crowd. They suffered badly at the hands of each other more than what the storm brought.
However, Mississippi and Alabama had extensive damage too but hardly got a mention. Why? They are both self reliant areas of people. The victims in those two states did not see themselves as victims, but as survivors. They helped themselves and their neighbors. Churches, not FEMA and/or The Red Cross drove in by the thousands. Same mindset, helping your fellow man. The feds must have scratched their collective heads and drove away.
I know this to be fact because we lived in Birmingham at the time. Gov. Haley Barbour was a champion and I never heard him complain throughout the recovery. Americans doing for themselves and each other. Not the government helping or not, on their bureaucratic time line.
After months of harping on New Orleans I saw only one news show with footage on the damage in Mississippi. It was shocking. Mile after mile after mile of total destruction, then that was it I never saw any more footage of any of the other states damaged from the storm.
The liberal media is the number 1 enemy of freedom in America.
These people got what they voted for. And now they're complaining. What did they expect?
...as DEAR LEADER PART II will undoubtedly say , " ...what difference does it make !"
Operation Blessig was the first Christian helpers on the scene AND ARE STILL THERE. tRUCKLOADS OF FOOD AND WATER ARE HELPING THE PEOPLE AND VOLUNTEERS HELPING TO REPAIR HOMES. The 700 Clun is Pat Robertson's CBN, Christian Broadcasting Network. Members contribute every month, and Operation Blessigs appears in places all over the world to assit people in crisis. Unicef has nothing compared to Operations Blessing.
The media blasted Pat Robertson when he was going to run for President.
Obama used Sandy as a photo op before the election, and talked as if he was going to 'make sure' help wouuld come soon. Now we know the truth. Who believed him anyway? But Obama DID help someone...a man named Marsi---from Egypt I think---oh yeah, that's right, Egypt. He sent Marsi 2 billion dollars before the election. Obama MUST have forgotten who he promised to help, right? Then he sent multi million dollar fighter jets and 200 tanks that can fire accurately at top speed. That should help Marsi have security against the big bad Netanyahu, right?
Then we have Ambassador Stevens betrayed and it cost him his life in a brutal way Islamists are used to handing out. It seems if you're an American, you get the short end of the stick. But if you're a muslim, it's front and center for you.
Impeach Obama should be the 'Crying Out' focus from now on.
Imagine what Operation Blessings could have done with 1 billion at Sandy. How about New Jersey? Operation Blessig has been there too.
I hope people will take a look at CBN.com----maybe it's ORG and see the great work they do. They sure have God in their back pocket, and are a shining example how God wants us to have a relationship with Him.
The most insidious power the Leftist "media" (aka White House propaganda arm) has is the power to ignore. SEE: right to life march, today.
"He says the hurricane happened a week before the election and it appears now that some of these Sandy victims have been abandoned in a Democrat mecca."
It's not an Obama 'photo-op' anymore.
Not that it matters, most of these people will still vote Democrat next election anyway.
Can't have those frustrated NY Democrats shooting government workers now can we.
;-) ;-)
ROFL, thought maybe Bloomers would want them using the nonunion folks for target practice.....
Oh, c'mon now, not that old falsehood again!!!
James Robinson builds wells in Africa, helping the blacks, along with food. The 700 Club helps blacks, and Chinese, and Japanese etc., Their "Operation Blessing" trucks are everywhere in the world, ready to meet a crisis. They still are at Sandy now.
Before you show your bias and prejusice, and spread falsehoods, at least look up the Christian programs and you can see assistance in action from videos. The Christian Fund helps children everywhere.
The 700 Club will even set up a small local business for a single Mom with children, so she can continue to help her family. I have seen the 700 Club pay for operations for children born with health problems, even in China, that has no public healthcare. Operation Blessings was even in Japan soon after the tsunami. The governments that give aid to greedy governments, who don't help their own people, should be giving aid money to the Christian operations that spend the money on the people who need it. Members pay a minimum of $20. per month to help out.
I can go on and on. Please give credit where it is due.
I have been there twice with volunteer work teams in Nov. and Dec. We saw dozens of vehicles helping out. Interesting thing is they were all Churches. There were NO agency trucks, no supervisors, only church workers. No one says anything about that, either. There are several churches helping out as the need is huge. We were there with Calvary Chapel relief.
They stopped talking about Sandy b/c there is a new shiny object to talk about: gun control.
That's why.
Obama used Hurricane Sandy to get reelected. We knew it at the time. It was obvious to any sane, reasoning person who wanted to use their own brain. However, he declared himself the savior of the day, while Bloomberg sent him to Christie, who obliged by declaring him the all-giving savior as well, with his little bobble-head nodding up and down to every word Obama spoke at their news conference.
The LameStream plastered it all over the front pages on how well he had done to turn back the tides. They were key in getting the election turned around for Obama and squeaking out a victory at the last minute.
So now, they wouldn't say anything against him if they actually wanted to, which they don't. It would hurt their credibility as the guardians of the holy printed word. I blame them first and foremost for Obama being reelected. I blame the people for falling for this garbage and trudging through the devastation Sandy caused just to put him back in office. You wanted him, you got him. Feel the pain.
Oh, and I blame Algor for fighting Global warming, for it could have kept them just a little warmer had it not been sent packing into the realms of myth. The only warmth they will now receive is the hot air from all the politicians who say "they are from the government and they are here to help".
I think the turning point of the election was missed by Romney. He could have brought up Benghazi, during the debate with Obama, but didn't. Millions of voters knew nothing about Benghazi. Obama won the election by 1%. Had Romney brought up Benghazi, I'm sure it would have put him over the top, and he would be President today.
So, why didn't he bring it up? I think his advisors gave him cautious advice. They may have thought there wasn't enough information about Benghazi.
Had the roles been reversed, I'm sure Obama would have brought it up.
Imagine that. 1%
It didn't take much to get Christy to turn traitor. He was still pouting from not being chosen VP. Obama went in for the kill by getting his hero Bruce Springsteen to agree to meet him. He was putty in Obama's hands after that.
"it would hurt their credibility" Actually, I don't think it would because the fools who voted for Obama wouldn't care as long as they can continue to receive their freebies. Its when the well runs dry you will see the uproar of the masses and that's not too far into the future unless someone with some smarts and chutzpah steps up.
What angers me is he used Benghazi to get voted too..making up a story about a movie and not paying forthe first attack since 9 11 ,.in fact possibly being rewarded for it..with their next person to run for President connected to the lie as well..How did no one pin the times she said over and over We are sorry for that dreadful movie..?? How blind are the many people who questioned her who praised her and then started out < I know it wasn't you but why did Susan Rice blame the movie..are you kidding me Hillary blamed the movie in front of the families of the fallen and made a public broadcast announcement to Pakistan..who are we protecting???
Rush is failing to see that life has now morphed. And criticism of dear leader is criticism of the media and vice versa.
They are simpatico.
Yup. "One ring to bind them all."
Edit: Add Hollywood and you have what Brietbart was talking about. The Democratic/media/entertainment complex.
Follywood has been trying to indoctrinate the people for a long time, using sex and comedy in the mix of a story.
