Rush says that in the traditional sense that Trump is no conservative and he cites Trump both wanting to raise tariffs on Chinese goods by 25% as well as Trump bashing Paul Ryan’s plan to reform our entitlements. In fact he believes Trump hasn’t even taken the time to get to know Ryan’s plan before taking shots at it. Rush says that’s definitely not conservative.
But what I really like about this clip is Rush pointing out how lame the current field of Republican candidates are, noting that if one of them stood firm on conservative values and wasn’t afraid to tell the truth about the President, the way Trump has been doing but more so, that they’d blow Trump out of the water. The problem is that Rush doesn’t see that kind of strength in the current field. Neither do I.
Of course, once Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin jump in, that will all change.

UPDATE: Herman Cain slipped my mind. I think he has no problem saying what needs to be said about who Obama is and what he’s done.
