This morning (March 2), in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is 30 years old, NOT the 23 that had been reported all along.
As suggested earlier, age is irrelevant, she simply is not advanced enough to care for herself.

Well I for one liked Rush's idea that Ms. Fluke provide sex tapes. If she provided them on pay-per-view she could very quickly not only be paying for her own contraceptive needs, she could be paying her "law school" tuition, paying off her student loans, earning a very nice income and paying taxes like the rest of us.
