Rush: Will Obama stand up for the rights of Fred Phelps too?

Rush makes an interesting point today, wondering if Obama would stand up and speak out for the constitutional rights of Fred Phelps to protest at the funerals of soldiers. He makes a couple of other comparisons, but the end result for me was that he was making the point that Obama speaking out like he did was obviously more than just him defending the rights of the owners to build the mosque at Ground Zero. If he didn’t support it, why would he speak out at all? We know he won’t be defending the rights of Fred Phelps anytime soon because he doesn’t agree with Phelps, even though he is exercising his constitutional right.

IMO, another brilliant point from Rush.
