Great points made. Glad he pointed out that those children were killed by an evil person and not an inanimate object. Plus as he stated there is a way to "fix" the 2d Amendment for those that don't agree with it. It's called the amendment process. You want to change or eliminate the 2d amendment, then go through the process of amending the constitution. That won't work you say?? Well thats too bad then. Those are the laws in our country. You want to live where there are severe laws against guns move to D.C., Chicago, Australia, England, Japan, Mexico....etc etc. Leave our guns alone.
As my brother-in-law, who works for the NRA, likes to point out, a gun in my hand will save my life not the police on the phone.
When you need a cop right this second, you can count on them only being minutes away. Providing 911 thinks your call is important enough. :-(

That's just it. I think it is becoming increasingly clear, that the Liberal's solution to:
1. Prevent gun murders by the mentally ill, and
2. Prevent gun crime by criminals, is MORE gun control on law abiding citizens.
Doesn't make sense but that the way lib logic works. They may be close to jumping the shark on this issue in the public's mind.

Thank you sir. It will be up to all of us to make a similar stand in behalf of our second amendment ...somewhere, someplace and it will be sooner rather than later. May we have the courage that you shown when we, too, are called to make our stand in the face of opposition!

If the GOP would get out of their comfort zone and get into the nasty dusty fight with these elected American flea bags to defend and protect the Constitution and the rights of the lawful American gun owners etc, we could see many great victories in the 2014 election. But if not I doubt there'll be very many guns collecting dust bunnies and cat hairs.

Finally, a person close to the horrible situation, keeps his intellect in control and is not ruled by fear and emotion.
Piers appear undaunted by the facts and his shooting experience even made him more anti-gun, if possible. Every time he says "Why does some one need a blah blah blah..." he should be told it has nothing to do with need, it's a civil right.
The progressives have judged him as a crazy man; therefore he should have his guns removed from his home by the authorities. Child services needs to be called in also.

Not with a fly-by-night legislation that was attempted in the middle of the night, at the 11th hour, in a smoke-filled backroom of some political office. Not with some Executive Order that was written by a despot, for a despot, against the will of the people. Not by a tear-dripping, propaganda-drenched, never-let-a-crisis-go-to-waste speech that ramps up the zealots who faint and swoon at every word.
We're talking God-given right to each and every one of us. Come and take 'em. I'm waiting.

This man, and he is a real man, made me proud. Not because he was 'standing by his guns' or because he was 'right'... but because he is following the rule of law, freedom, and is determined to protect his family in the best way available.
That, and not his gun rhetoric, is what made the reps sitting in front of him stare at their shoes. Liberals cannot argue with that.
