Last night on CNN, Arlen Specter told John King that he didn’t have a conversation with Santorum making a commitment based on Supreme Court Justices. But Santorum, on Glenn Beck’s radio show this morning, maintained that’s exactly what happened. Santorum says that he hears parsing in Specter’s comment, but Specter’s overall denial is simply not true.
Also, Santorum uses the opportunity to attack Romney, noting the irony that Romney is attacking him over Specter, say that he supported about 36 liberal activist judges in Massachusetts when he was Governor. He also mentions his lack of support for Reagan and his lie in the debate on the conscience issues in Massachusetts.
