This is a short, but great interview with Sarah Palin where they talk about her potential presidency and the rumors that swirl about her, and more. The part that I liked the most was when she was asked to give three words to describe herself. I won’t tell you what all three of them are, but one of them was ‘faithful’. I point that out because I believe it. I’m not sure how things will go down over the next two years, and I have people that I like even more than her for President. But should she win the nomination, I would proudly vote for her simply because I believe that she would be faithful to this country, a President who would really stand for the people.

That, and it would drive the libs absolutely crazy.

That's such a good reason to vote for someone -- to "drive the libs crazy". So, she was elected to be governor of Alaska and quit office half way through to go make big bucks -- that shows how faithful Palin is. Cannot figure you Palin supporters out, although I have no doubt you have one thing in common -- low I.Q.

Seems she also mentioned Mark Levin's book but since Bawbawa doesn't like Levin, they edited that part of her answer out.

I would use these three words to describe Sarah Palin ..... snarky, divisive and idiotic. I am sorry if that sounds offensive. I would prefer our President to be presidential..... intelligent and willing to put their own insecurities aside to move this country forward. She is neither.

I am not sure about "snarky", but divisive and idiotic are not true. Divisions are created by those who hold objection to her. To say what you believe, and act accordingly does not make you divisive, but only brings out the divisiveness in those that object to you. Those who divide themselves from her philosophies, are generally attacking her personally, not the content of her statements. She is rarely if ever attacking anyone else in like manner. "Idiotic" is another term that is derived from the ignorance of the beholder of the word. It is subjective at best, and relative at least. It is either intended to describe a persona, or a position. If persona, then it is just a personal problem that is one sided. If it is positionally held or used, then it requires substantive content to justify its use. Without that, the user of the word is simply showing their own affiliation to the word.

How to tell a liberal/progressive from a conservative?

Simply assess their reaction to witnessing the obvious love between a husband and a wife exhibited by the Palins.

The epitome of the urban self-absorbed leftist is Maureen Dowd. Does anybody for a moment think that watching an interview like this does not send MoDo over the edge with uber-jealousy. Tears on keyboard bitterness?

So Palin's flippant response to Couric, that she read everything. To the media means, she doesn't read anything. Thats how absurd it was

I adore Palin, I do. But I don't think she's electable. She's too much of a lightning rod. I'd like to see someone who shares the same values but whose identity hasn't been cemented, be it based on truth or not, in the minds of so many.

The White House is begging for Palin to be the GOP nominee. That should tell you something.

how about a little reverse psychology.

they are so afraid of her.. that they've started a camapign to make us think that she will lose..

and she will not

She wouldn't be my first choice, but I don't know how easy it is to estimate her electability status. If she made it to the general election, she would make a good run of it, but it appears that she is interested in supporting whoever is electable. I would love to see her get away from the McCain types, and hook up with Ron Paul. That would give a real conservative a huge boost. I have a tendency to distrust all politicians, but I could find myself being enthusiastic about Ron Paul.

no they're not, you just don't want to admit that you're a victim of the media.

And many, many people find the thought of Sarah as President, REFRESHING AND ENCOURAGING.

First WOMAN President. We can get that one out of the way now too!

Listen to her at 3:42 as she describes her relationship to her husband, Todd.

Then notice how affectionate she becomes when Todd enters the interview.

22 years of marriage and she's still gone over the guy.

He's obviously doing something right.

Props and Respect to a One Man Heavy Dude Corps.

The more I hear from her, the more impressed I am. She is truly a breath of fresh air. Plain-spoken, her message is crystal clear. God bless her and her family. I hope she can bring the country back on the right track.

Who are the others Scoop? Who? Pence? Daniels? Barbour? Are these really better than Palin? Unless Palin doesn't run, will I consider these guys. IF she's in, she's the best.
