Sarah Palin Iowa Reagan Dinner Keynote

I had to take a long walk after the speech.
I think Sarah is right. We have to return to basic values in order to see anything change.
I thought of a tree. Right now it is as if each one of us is way out on some branch or other. From the end of my branch, I speak with others at the ends of their branches. This causes a lot of yelling. The yelling will cause us all to fall off the ends of our branches. We will get nowhere.

We need to return to the trunk, the roots.
We need to come from truth.
Truth is God — not God as in some grey haired man in the sky or ‘God’ as in this religious insitution vs. that religious institution. God is not in an institution or in a religion. God is in the heart. God is fundamental truth and love. God is Natural Law. God is what works.

We need to act the way we know we should act; we need to act the way we want all people to act. We need to come from that place where individual and group needs merge. It is the group that needs it to survive, but the individual who must embody and convey it. The individual finds ‘God’ and the group prospers.

Politicians must be this way too. We need politicians who are not corrupt, selfish do-nothing lazy liars. So many politicians must be sick in the heart for what they have become. They must retire and heal and let others who still have faith take their places.

Thank you Sarah and thank you all voters who still have faith and not anger.

At 14min 6sec to 16min 6sec, Sarah Palin took control of the Republican Party in Iowa when she told the “elites”… and Carl Rove, what’s what.

” … If I were in the hierarchy of leadership in the GOP, to rally the troops, do you know what I’d say?

“I’d say, Demint, you’re awesome, we need you down south.

“Mitt, goes West.

“GW, we need you to raise funds.

“Kristol, Krauthammer, you’ve got to to East.

“Elvita, Rush, go deep, go anywhere, everywhere, people are listening.

“Hannity, Levin, Beck, Michelle, Laura, Tammy.

“All you all.

“We need everybody working together.

“Prager, Sowell.

“I’m gonna get in trouble for missing some names, so I better stop.

“But, um, and Carl.

“Carl, go to, here. You can come to Iowa.

“And Carl Rove and the other leaders who will see the light and realize that these are the normal, hard working, patriotic Americans who are saying,

“No, enough is enough.

“We want to turn this around, and we want to get back to those time tested truths that are right for America.

“… It’s the patriots who will turn this around.

“… It’s the voters who will stop these leftist policies.

“The voters will stop the “fundamental transformation of America” that is not good for America.

“It’s the patriots who will restore America.”

Maybe it truly is time for REAL God Blessed change in America.

Both women have a servant’s heart.
Both women have been through the “refining” fire.
Both women speak with inspiration from that “inner place” from which great words bubble up and great works are produced.
