Really? I didn’t realize the Tea Party’s principles included “must be Republican.” Besides…as a Libertarian who was a part of the original Tea Party protests before the movement while Bush was still in office before it became mainstream…I resent that remark.

My statement implied that if you are part of the tea party, you probably want to devolve most power to the state or privatize parts of the economy. If you vote democrat, you do not believe that. It’s not! I’ve seen democrats, even gay people as part of the tea party movement. LOTS of libertarians, myself included. And you don’t have to be religious either! They accept everyone. The main issue is are you tired of Washington not answering to the voters? If you can say yes, then you can appreciate and gain from the tea party.

We’re the hands on, hard working people, that helped build the strengh and power of freedom on the North American Continent. As a side note: I so enjoy O’Reilly now- Thanks to Beck putting a spotlight on the old man. Even pudding can make a difference in the life of a Harvard elite. I got a kick out of watching that last night (I record it), thanks RS for posting it here.
Sarah is getting tougher in her interviews, like seeing that and she did not let Bill run over her like he usually does to others. I still don’t know if she is presidential material, but I’m liking her more and more.
