I could use one right about now. Lost power for 48 hours, and my firewood pile is low! 10 degrees on Saturday night. New England in the winter...
'Republicans don't want to prevent abortion in the case of rape or incest.'
If abortion is murder, than why is some murder OK?
A few days ago, you said people only have guns for hunting or out of fear. Now you have added more reasons.
If you are unable to keep your own lies straight, do not expect me to do it for you!
It is a common argument with Liberal that some weak-willed Conservatives try to engage. They will justify our treatment of children and talk about our support for adoption.
Actually, the response to this line of Liberal non-thinking is to call it out for the abject STUPIDITY that it is and make LIBERALS defend it!
Liberals will go to any length possible to dehumanize the child, and they will go to those same ridiculous lengths to justify killing that child.
You legally become a person when you are born. You get a name, a social security number etc. Most religions recognize that life begins prior to birth, yet we don't name our fetuses. Birth is the big moment.
The SC is tasked with upholding or striking down laws, based on Constitutional principals. What would be the Constitutional principal that would outlaw abortion, if life begins at birth?
You don't point out the obvious, Bill. You obfuscate everything. You tried to justify abortion by using the Supreme Court. I answered that and you IMMEDIATELY switched to the Bible.
Yes, the woman ultimately decides to kill he child, just like Andrea Yates did.
I take a stand on many issues, Stan. I point out the obvious, and you call me a coward?
The power of life is amazing. In fact, early man thought God was a woman, precisely because women have the power of life. They give life.
That's why I said it's really a woman's choice. You can plead with a woman to carry your baby, but ultimately it is the woman that decides.
My point is, it's not my choice, or yours. It's her choice. And the Supreme Court has backed her up on it. It doesn't matter if you think it's immoral or not.
Usually. They are supposed to interpret laws according to Constitutional principals. If you want to outlaw abortion, you would need to convince the SC that life begins at conception.
The Supreme Court upheld slavery. And if you want to use the Bible for justification, then you would be opposed to abortion. So spare us your hypocrisy and stupidity!
First, the Abortion decision was created out of nothing. No 'right' to abortion exists.
Second, was the Supreme Court right and moral when they upheld slavery?
What is the main point? I stated the fact that abortion is a woman's choice, not a man's choice. That is a fact.
You simply can't accept the fact that a woman has the choice.
I think it is even deeper than that. Liberal think that anything and everything they believe is true, a stone-cold fact, and beyond any approach.
When anyone questions their beliefs, or dares to bring facts into the equation, Liberal are incapable of any meaningful defense.
"What do you mean prove that abortion is a right? It just is!"
I made a statement that I stand by- Ultimately, abortion is a woman's choice.
That's a simple scientific fact. You can't stop a woman from aborting merely by passing a law.
Do we have the moral right to water-board someone for information?
Some would say yes, and some would say no.
That's the point- you and I have no choice in the matter. The woman has the choice. Always has, always will.
We may decide if she can have a legal abortion, but she makes the choice with regard to abortion in general.
Change the word 'abortion' to 'murder' or 'prostitution' or 'bank robbery' and your point remains.
Anyone can CHOOSE to do almost anything. But to use choice to justify the killing of a child is barbaric.
I'm not justifying anything Stan, I'm just saying the woman is the one making the decision, and sometimes the only one that knows of her decision is God.
When you murder someone, or rob a bank, others know.
I'm not judging whether abortion is right or wrong. I'm merely pointing out that it comes down to a woman's choice.
No lawmaker can stop her if she really want's to abort.
And just as an aside, many of the people that work behind the scenes at 'Hannity' are quite Liberal.
If a woman gets pregnant, has a pee test in the privacy of her own home, and aborts without telling anyone, how is that not her choice? Who decided to abort for her?
The point is, why would any free American work at a job where they disagree with 98% of their co-workers? Didn't Lincoln end slavery?
I did listen to the video, and I think she's a strong woman. I still maintain abortion is a woman's choice.
