Scott Brown on ABC’s This Week with Barbara Walters

This is a good interview with Scott Brown, although I take issue with a couple of things he said. I didn’t like his answer on whether or not Tim Geithner should be replaced. He contends that Obama should work with who he is most comfortable with, but what is this, a non-profit agency? He’s the head of the IRS and his continuation should be based on not simply his qualifications but more importantly the job he has done. Secondly, while I can appreciate his answer on whether Obama has made us less safe, the truth is that Obama has great influence on those who fashion policies that Brown speaks of, and Obama has used that influence to strip our nation of the tools that are so badly needed to keep the American public safe.

Outside of that, I thought it was a great interview:

ultimately his privates were hidden in the pics, which means you end up seeing as much as if he'd had a swimsuit on.

If a gal had her parts hidden with their hands or their hair, it's not that controversial.

Anyway, about 20,000 – 50,000 people need to be “laid off” from the government. America doesn't need them.

So, regardless of party, fiscal conservatives are what America needs.

Money has no feelings. The debt being accrued is criminal, potentially taking decades to pay back. Or if you follow Glenn, it's intended to collapse the economy under Cloward/Piven.

Scott raises some good points about federal intrusion. I agree it's up to each state to decide health care, gay marriage etc. As Reagan said, people can vote with their feet. The values of California are not the same as Montana.

Is it me, or is Bawbawa trying desperately to get him to back off the Tea Party movement and moderate his “tone” and try and “get along” with democrats? The editing done in this interview was horrible. I'm sure Scott Brown is hacked that they took out most of his comments and left in what ABC wanted him to say. Not a terrible interview, but he needs to get his media chops together fast or he's going to be skewered by the next anti-conservative “journowist”

True, Katy Couric will smash him next…. if she gets the chance.

Scott would be wise to avoid being cornered by enemies, and having no control over the final edit.

In this vid Barbara can't wait to exhume every skeleton, including very personal home life stuff. But Scott takes it in stride. He offers no apology or regret for the photo shoot for example.

Anyway, I'd hope the media would learn soon that the general population is on to their Game. The honeymoon is over, reality is here.

I thought Senator Brown did an excellent interview. He's a very savvy guy and can handle himself quite well, thank you. No need to worry about this guy at all.
