Levin pointed out today, after this interview occurred, that Christie won’t run because he knows he can’t win. He won’t win the conservative base’s commitment. They’ll sniff him out as a moderate. (Did you know that he’s a “warmer”, as Levin put it? Yes, Christie believes in global warming, and we don’t need this kind of naivete in a candidate, for crying out loud.) Christie is not a thorough-going conservative – he is weak on a host of issues. Sean is pretty polite, but Levin is often more realistic and willing to say the hard things that Sean stops short of saying. It’s been gratifying to hear Christie take a tough stand against the whiny, self-centered teacher’s unions, sort of how it’s been nice to hear Trump go against O, but that’s about all he offers because he’s a RINO in every other respect, and I don’t trust him. You shouldn’t either, if you’re a conservative.

You do know that Fox News was sued in court by an ex employee claiming that Fox News wanted him to lie about a story and he refused and was fired. Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States. Nice they won the right to lie, how impressive and respected.

He says he’s not anti-gun and that the 2nd amendment should be respected. But he believes that people with criminal records shouldn’t be able to get guns too. I’m not sure if he means misdemeanor or federal or both. If he included misdemeanor that would be problematic.

Christie is not pro-life. He’s a liberal version. He makes an exception for rape and incest. That means he’s pro-choice and any liberal who hears that knows that’s exactly what it means.
A life is a life. A true pro-lifer only makes an exception for the life of the mother. Christie got that part right because he didn’t say “health” of the mother. But he gave himself away with the rape and incest exclusion. He’s pro-choice, which is another way to say he’s pro-abortion.

In another step to get ObamaCare rammed through no matter what, the federal Department of Health and Human Services has awarded seven states $241 million
in grants to set up internet health insurance exchanges. These
exchanges are supposed to help establish a virtual marketplace for
people to purchase health insurance from.
New Jersey is not one of the states that have been awarded one of these
grants, but what is happening regarding them should be of interest to
Republicans in the state. Before I tell you why though, here is how
Governor Christie has responded to funding from the ObamaCare bill.The grants being given are extensions of a program that Governor Christie accepted funding from in 2010. Last summer Christie accepted $141 million from this ObamaCare program. In September, New Jersey was awarded another $1 million of funding of ObamaCare monies to set up an exchange program. Finally, just last month another $39 million
was channeled from ObamaCare to the public worker health insurance fund
in New Jersey and the state is also asking for an additional $40
million next year. So as you can see, Governor Christie has been right
at the front of the line when it has come to sucking down ObamaCare
monies. His excuse has been that he needs it to “balance” the state
budget, but his acceptance of the funds just goes to justify the program
and is most likely the underlying reason he refused to join other

Today Sean Hannity finally got to interview Chris Christie and I’ve got all 14 minutes of it. Hannity quizzed him on his positions relating to abortion, gun control, the ground zero mosque, and of course any consideration when it comes to running for president. One thing I respect about Christie is that he has said all along that he made a commitment to New Jersey and he plans on keeping it and that’s why he won’t run for president. I respect Allen West for the same reason. Honoring commitments is a big deal and it’s always a good sign to find people who aren’t just using their position as a step ladder.
I found it to be a great interview and worth the 14 minutes to give it a listen. Enjoy!
