Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) makes mincemeat out of Chris Matthews

I normally wouldn’t post a 10+ minute segment of “Hardball”, but after you watch this you’ll be wishing it was longer.

I think Lee realized early on here that he was trying to reason with a brick wall. Matthews’ even went so far as to insist – over and over again – that the Cut, Cap, and Balance bill that passed the House last week was not really bipartisan, even though five Democrats voted for it. Weren’t the Democrats telling us just last year that a bill can be bipartisan even though the votes might not be bipartisan? I guess that bizarre definition of bipartisanship went out the window when Republicans took back the House. Now even five votes from the other party isn’t enough.

Great job, Mike Lee! More, please.
