Good post. I think it's just an 'American' thing. :-) The don't tread on me mentality a lot of us have. We hold true to the ideals laid out in the constitution and I believe we will continue. It will be a tough fight to bring back the basics, but there are too many of us still believe 'We the people' are the power and not the ruling elite.
For the moment, or as least as I write this, Obama has not demonstrably "ticked off the Praetorian Guards", yet. We, who do not, have not, and will not, bow to a dictator, in our own land, do not desire a "weak" candidate, to oppose Obama in the national elections. In my eyes, this excludes Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and John Huntsman. I have yet to rule out Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachmann or Rick Perry. Rick Santorum, although as of this morning, the "leader", has come across to me, as more of a single issue person, i.e., "the family". I came from a multi-faceted dysfunctional family, of whom, I, and a sister somewhere in the world, are all that's left. So, to me, "family" does not come out as an election issue. Eradicating the stealthy instituting of Communism, and Mohammedanism (which are both contrary to our founding documents), is an issue, from indoctrination in the federal school system, to political correct control of an individual's choice of words, which the Democrats, and this President, have been complicit in their behaviour, and implementation.
This woman, who so wide-eyed you would think she were mesmerized, is a prime example of the filth we need to throw out of office.
She drives me crazy! And her "go to" line is "that just simply is not true!" I am soooo over hearing her say that line!!!

Between the commentary on changing the color of the water, wishing for a college student to come and put a whole box of Tide in it and then asking Debbie Downer about her position on foam battles, he undid any previous good. Seriously, Shep?! I'm all for a little levity, but that was downright bizarre.
So, you'd prefer 4 more years of Barry? I'd prefer Paul over Barry and hold my nose voting for him. Personally, I can't afford 4 more years of Barry.
The ONLY reason McCain did as well as he did was BECAUSE of Palin not in-spite of her.
Again, Barry was pulled OFF OF THE GOLF COURSE and told that OBL was about to be killed. He didn't have a choice in the matter without seeming weaker than he already is. Just like the Captain of the Navy ship told the SEAL's to shoot the pirates, THEN Barry was told about it.

It's no wonder she lies...her parents (you know, fine upstanding citizens themselves) must be so proud. Fruit does't fall far from the tree.
That's my point, and my scary thought. Hillary is about as commie as dear leader, so it wouldn't be much of a change there, and if the republican hopeful turns out to be mittens- we're toast. Hillary would win.

His record is crap and he I am not sure he hasn't disclosed his tax records. As for ads against him in a general election you have to realize all he has to do is point to Obama and say Did I do worse than him? I dont want Romney but I can live with him. I cant live with four more years of Obama. Romney is smart enough to do what will save his ass. Obama is so arrogant he doesn't know his ass needs saving.
I would have used Ron Paul. Romney is really good and redirecting sh*t thrown at him.
