I have always thought Shep was on the wrong station, he should be with his friends at CNN or MSNBC
liberals are the only ones that can speak for everyone and what they say is supposed to be it,they need to have an operation to get their heads out of you know where so they can see where they are going.
it is wonderful that the liberals are the only people that have a say and can say anything about anything and anyone and you better accept it as the only thought you can have.
I am a little taken back by Mr.Shepard Smith's comment concerning "The Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day" As "A National Intolerance Day". I mean the main issue besides the institution of marriage between one man and one women, was and is the first Amendment of freedom of speech this was at the heart of why the people came out in support of Chick-Fil-A or did Mr.Shepard Smith miss this fact? I have also been watching Fox News as well as Fox and Friends this morning and I have not heard one mention of Mr. Shepard Smith's remarks concerning the above matter. I thought FOX was suppose to be fair and balance?
What a dbag. People don't like the government, liberals, or anyone else telling them what they can think or say or eat! Get it, Shep? It's about FREEDOM.
Intolerance is when loony toon lib mayors are threatening to keep a restaurant out of their cities because someone spoke their mind. Smith probably thinks I'm intolerant because I execute my rights when his liberal face comes on the tube and I turn him off.
For once, this worthless leftist coward is right. This whole episode was about hatred, bigotry and shameful, un-American intolerance. All from people like him. Gays and their supporters just can't help their ugly hatred they feel for anyone that opposes their mindset and agenda. They constantly show their bigotry against Christians and catholics. They are proud of their intolerance of anyone that does not toe their line.
Intolerance my butt! We are sick and tired of having this minorities' sick and twisted agenda shoved in our face. They want to marry each other? Fine. They want to practice all sorts of freakish actis upon each other? Fine. Just don't try and demand the rest of US accept and endorse it.
NO... Shep is entitled to his opinion. Practice what you preach!!! Is not the right to discern that started up the whole Chick-fil-A controversy?
Hunt should go back to England and take smith(not capitalized for lack of respect)with him.
I guess, Shep is out of the closet and he does not like anyone who does not condone his values or agrees with him...
Man-up FOX: Respected Anchors don't interject their personal opinions into the news. Shepard Smith routinely uses demeaning, sarcastic snipes to show his contempt for conservatives. We aren't sheep... and it's time to FIRE Shep!
He's the media and he doesn't want free speech................................find another job, Shep
Isn't being intolerant of intolerance..."Intolerance"? How can they condemn people's opinions and rights to support any business they choose? Because we make a choice that doesn't line up with them...we are bigots? Are they tolerant? Does bigotry only go go one way. Looks like a double standard on a one way street. God bless America with liberty and justice for all!
My husband and I have stopped watching Mr. Smith. We believe that he's the one who is intolerant. Chic fil a was about one thing. Freedom of belief and speech. That's it. Nothing to do with gays. We love the 5 and all the other Fox shows, but sadly, no more of Mr. Smith
Man-up FOX: Respected Anchors don't interject their personal opinions into the news. Shepard Smith has used his position to bully and voice his distain for conservatives on numerous occasions. We aren't sheep... and it's time to FIRE Shep!
You know, there are people saying bad things that align themselves with the right, but good Lord! This chick-fil-a thing is waaaaaay out of proportion. It's the freedom of speech, and no one can tell chick-fil-a what they can and can't say. It's not even an issue (though I plan on giving them my money as a vote of support). This is all just a distraction from the real issue. Obama's economy.
we hate anyone who isnt like us....its what the us is all about....wonder how many sandwiches were free to show thanks for the support? zero............ suckers
Shemp is a moron.. always has been and continues to be..
Comes on FOX just before O'Really.. who is marginally better..
Where some of the "spin stops" but not all of it..
Shep belongs at cnn and msnbc - he really is a weak link re news and he would fit in well at the other 2 stations - since what he says deserves a big viewership like cnn and msnbc.
Shep IS gay... and he's also a hypocrat. We get too many liberal news anchors bashing conservatives from all the other news outlets... sad that we have to put up this the same on FOX, by Shep! He needs to GO!
Mr. Shepperd Smith is the "voice of reason " over there on that channel. Keep up the good work sir.
We basically know where Shepard Smith is coming from. He's a liberal Democrat who is likely "gay" and thus he sees the Chick-Fil-A 'appreciation day' as a slam against the homosexual community. Which again, he is likely a part of, and therefore, wants to defend. Shepard Smith obviously can't see the forest for the trees. Since this is not about denigrating homosexuals, but instead, in standing up for the First Amendment right to FREE SPEECH and to be able to hold a particular stance on an issue without fear of retribution. In this case, 'traditional marriage' which Dan Cathy obviously believes that marriage should be between one man and one woman. This is the same position that the Holy Bible proclaims and that the institution of marriage itself constitutes throughout history.
Only until just recently has the overall miniscule population of homosexuals throughout the world seemed hell-bent on changing the definition of marriage to suit their own homosexual agenda. Which is to somehow change their "deviant" (unnatural) lifestyle into an acceptable way of life in the eyes of the world community - through the coronation of homosexual marriage - which they are hoping would then give their deviant (unnatural) lifestyle a form of legitimacy. Which apparently Shepard Smith agrees with or he wouldn't have said what he said about the Chick-Fil-A appreciation day i.e. a "national day of intolerance." Only the twisted mind of a progressive liberal could turn something of national significance - a First Amendment issue - into "demonizing" American citizens who hold the traditional view of marriage. Shepard Smith is the one who is intolerant and Fox News should fire him.
What any sane person would watch Shepard Smith over Lou Dobbs? Since they are on at the same time, it is strange that Smith is even on the air.
i also watch Dobbs instead, anyone else remember when shep said blowjob on the air in place of i think it was blowup
I am not fond of Shepard Smith. I think he displays a certain arrogance that is unappealing, in addition to an unearned sense of self-importance. But, as a 1st Amendment supportor, I will disagree with his comment vehemently, and support his right to voice it just as strongly.
I know you all do as well.

I didn't know Shep was so emotional. Maybe when his ratings improve, he will abandon the Debbie Downer attitude.
What an uplifting experience this has been!!! Remember, "We're mad as he'11 and we're not going to take this anymore"? Well that's where we are right now in this country!!!
I used to like Shep, years ago. His reporting wasn't nearly as biased back then as it is now. Now he's just obnoxious, for the most part. I've heard rumors that he's gay, which would explain his attitude toward Chick Fil A.
Shepard Smith is obnoxious....I never watch him or Geraldo.
He makes himself even worse with little comments that he must think are funny and are not.
Hey, Shep, intolerance is to boycott a business because own of the executives disagrees with a position you hold is called intolerance. Pin head, liberal schmuck who wears far to much rouge.
I confess I had to look it up. A more fitting phrase does not exist. TY. For those, like me, that didn't immediately know the quote: " For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. "
Shep should go back to Oxford and stay there. He is an Obama jerk--I never watch him. If he is on, I do chores or read a book.
