I sat down to watch 'The Five' on Fox and they (Fox News) 'milked' this story for the entire length of what would have been 'The Five'. If Fox mentioned his "strong anti-government views" at least 4 times, Obama and the libs are going to have a field day with it.

Thank god someone addressed this photo, as I skeet shoot but am no expert, and I have never seen smoke come out the side of the gun. Fraud.

Wait, you've never seen porting? I've only seen it done to a 45-70 because that thing is a beast, but when it's done to a shotgun, it's because the shooter can't handle recoil.
The smoke coming from the top of the shotgun is a muzzle brake, commonly known as a compensator. Please insert all your compensating jokes here. In fact, maybe that's why the First Wookie looks so cranky all the time.

That shotgun is ported and has a choke tube at the end. The latter is expected. The former is weak.

Anybody that knows Obama knows the photo is fake. It's obvious to anyone who has ever listened to Obama, that second puff of smoke should be coming out of the backside of his bluejeans.

Well, Im not an expert on shooting. That's more my husbands department. Im decent with a pistol at a fixed target at about 12 feet away. Even better if I move up…
Target shooting is interesting to me because you can really see progress.
We used to go a lot more frequently but not so much anymore due to the $.
My better half has had more than his share of hitting moving targets….
Once on vacation, as a family I thought it would be fun to try clay bird shooting.
We used double a double-barreled shotgun. I aimed quite a lot higher than 0 is aiming in that photo, and even with the second shot I still had a trajectory toward the skies, rather than a parking lot.
It was a humbling experience. We did 3 sets of 18 throws ea. I only got three…ooops-
My son managed to get 5. it's a lot harder than you think.
My husband, naturally did the best. I lost count, after he "killed" 25 or so of the clays.
Photoshop artist asked: "should I remove that side smoke"?
And everybody said: "I.... do no..", so he left it.
Maybe it was coming out of bho's nose before they did spin him 90 deg CCW?
Hey Barky Boy, want to have a contest against any of us Scoopers? I bet we ALL shoot better than you do. We'll even let you shoot at 15' targets while we shoot at 25' targets.
I'll bet he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with an M1-A1 tank. He's from Chicago and as with most high ranking Chicago 'Gangsters', he's got 'people' who do his shooting for him. :-)
I too was wondering about that sideways smoke coming from the barrel.I have been hunting for nearly forty years and can't recall ever seeing a smoke pattern like that.
Get an AK-74, champ. A lot more fun to shoot and a lot easier, too. Could you imagine the photo op of a president firing an AK-74 or an AR-15? How many world leaders are shown actually firing a weapon like that? If we had a real president with a real military background doing that, like Alan West, it would make the Iranians vomit with fear. Pity we don't have that with Obama. He just looks like a little boy firing a gun in this photograph.
