So predictable: McCain trashes tea party from Senate floor

This is John McLame at his very lamest.

At least when true conservatives like Paul Ryan, Allen West, and John Bolton argue in support of the latest Boehner debt plan, they don’t whizz all over the tea party in the process. Their political strategy may be flawed in this instance (just my opinion), but none of them have said anything to make me question their motives or principles. Like calling tea partiers “hobbits”, for example. Funny, I seem to recall McCain pointing out every two seconds during the 2008 GOP primary that he was a “foot-soldier in the Reagan Revolution”, or something. Good grief, was he kidding?

The fact that the Wall Street Journal provided McCain with the script doesn’t make this any easier to swallow. Apparently, McCain thought that was the perfect cover. Watch him try to weasel his way out of what he said during this interview from earlier tonight on Hannity.
