I'm pretty sure that he left the rifle in the car. So all this talk of the semi-automatic weapons is retarded. Plus, you can shoot just as fast with a pistol. I've seen people who can shoot faster with a revolver than some people can with an automatic...and be accurate. With the right amount of training it doesn't matter. And if no one else has any guns in the building it doesn't matter how long it takes you to fire rounds because no one is stopping you.

The much maligned 'assault rifle' has a more modern appearance, evidently menacing to most members of our biased media, than the traditional wood-stocked hunting rifle, but they're both capable of expelling large quantities of projectiles in rapid succession. The single advantage that the modern AR-15 has over those traditionally-styled, and apparently acceptable, weapons is the quickly changed, large capacity magazines.
This is the all-too-frequent result when the media masquerades as experts in fields in which they have absolutely no experience. I'm sure Ms. O'Brien has never so much as held a firearm, let alone emptied a high capacity magazine on the dreaded semi-automatic assault rifle.
Chances are good that her focus is so limited that she doesn't even know the brand of microphone she uses - everyday! But alas, she's paid merely to look pretty and repeat whatever words are whispered into her earpiece, and that she does expertly.

What good will any semiautomatic be if it owning a magazine that holds more than 5 rounds, will put us in jail and permanently revoke our right to own a fire arm?
The new laws will make us subject to immediate search and seizure if there is any sign what so ever that we are transporting a semi automatic, ammo for it or magazines for it.
The vast majority of gun owners will immediately become criminals and lose our rights to ever again own a firearm if we do not surrender our magazines and any amount of ammo over a few hundred rounds - it will be illegal to own them.
They have been thinking about this and planning for a very long time. This is serious. Very serious.

Had a conversation with a Chicago P.O. a while back and asked him about a hypothetical. Because guns are illegal here, I wanted to be sure I knew what the opinion of the P.O. is and how they would act.
I asked if I had a magazine or ammo visible in my car, would that be a crime, since the gun which is illegal is not present. He said they would search my car. I asked why they would have to search my car if neither of the items in sight were in themselves illegal.....and he responded that they don't need probable cause, only reasonable suspicion. The way I see that, it is already way overboard. Lets say I had some 10 boxes of light bulbs in my car, does that mean that they would have the right to search my house because the light bulbs (legal) could be used in illegal activity to grow drugs.
Our culture has been trained to fear guns, especially in densely populated cities where a large number of votes/voter fraud take place. The fact that criminals don't go to jail (unless on drug related crimes) tells me that they want violence and chaos and fear, so that people give up their guns thinking they're solving the problem. It's just playing into the hands of the devil (not literally, although the argument could be made that removal of freedom and subjugation of people is evil).

Lets take real criminals with a history of violence and even prison time. You can make a pretty safe bet that they HATE cops and given the chance, some would love to take one out. However, why is it that I've never heard of a single or group of criminals storming a police station and committing mass murder against the people whom they have real hatred for?
Not really hard to figure out why, but I wonder how morons in the media would rationalize it.
