I like the first question!

And I liked the answer, we'll just see what he actually does.

That 8 year plan sounded great! Now he can stay strong, we can get strong conservatives in Congress we CAN show the entire world what freedom and capitalism can do to pull people out of poverty, and out of hopelessness. We'll see that raising taxes isn't the only way to get more tax revenue.

Force a Balanced Budget Amendment (CUT,CAP, BALANCE) agenda, and make the Democrats either fall into line, or make them publically reject it for the whole country to see.

I'm not on the Romeny bandwagon yet, but he's not pissing me off as much these days.

Fingers crossed

The best thing I like about this video is that Mitt Romney is a nerd but seems competent.

I don't know. I drove down to Bowling Green, just a few weeks back, for a FANTASTIC foam party. A few days ago, I drove to Belleville to see Sarah Palin. Drive back to Bowling Green to see Romney? Not interested. After what I found about about how the guy governs, and seeing how badly he does under pressure when it comes to thinking on his feet, I just can't get excited about him.

"...seeing how badly he does under pressure when it comes to thinking on his feet..."?

Was there an invisible teleprompter I didn't see?

Oh yeah, I forgot, you're the hater who's voting for Obama.

Romney Campaign: If Obama Hates Bain So Much Why Has He Accepted $120K In Donations From Its Employees?…

He’s a flaming hypocrite.

Via TPM:

The Romney campaign is accusing President Obama of hypocrisy for accepting campaign contributions from Bain Capital employees while attacking the firm’s investments.

“President Obama has based his entire reelection campaign on a vicious, dishonest assault on Mitt Romney’s business career,” Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said in a statement. “The real question for President Obama is this: if Bain Capital is so bad, why have you taken nearly $120,000 in donations from them? President Obama’s actions are the height of hypocrisy.”

Well, (got that from Ronald Reagan) I watched Mitt's speech. It was even better than yesterday's. How? He sold it more. He was more passionate. I even got choked up a couple of times because I haven't heard this type of talk in years from a President. Romney's just in that pre-President stage.

The feeling he portrays here, due to the substance, and the way that substance is delivered, is that America has been taken down the wrong road. It made a wrong turn and parked in purgatory, on it's way to perdition.

The pride and patriotism, the references to our founding founders, is something we've been starving for from the biggest pulpit in our land. It's what's been missing, and it's that absence that makes the heart grow even fonder perhaps. Fonder of our founding, fonder of entrepreneurs and their individual pursuits of happiness. All of those brave souls who've risked all, from those very founders to our men and women in uniform, to every person who has ever dared try to make it in business. Who made that effort in full view of the critical eyes of friends, family, and neighbors. People who weren't afraid of failure and weren't afraid of success. All of these have made this United States experiment the stratospheric success it has become, until recently.

Speeches like this move me. They conjure up my hero, whose initials are two R's side by side. It's pride in the USA as it was meant to be and has been, which stirs the souls of folks. It causes us to emotionally embrace our past and yearn for that brighter tomorrow. We embrace where we've been and project confidence into our possible path forward.

Mitt made me believe it. More please.

The president is American by law but not American by spirit, an American would never had said what he said let alone an American president, we are a free people with private property rights, we pay for the services we receive, and we thank the people who help us succeed but we do not owe anyone anything especially our hard earned income.

“The President has failed and he is jeopardizing the safety of our troops, their families and our National security for political gain. Obama has exposed the identity of special operations units, leaked classified information, and limited the rules of engagement of forces on the ground,” said Mr. Zinke. “For those who have taken an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, it is a call of duty to take back America from a Commander-in-Chief that is incapable of understanding the sacrifices that have been made for the values that have made America great.”

May this reach America non stop from now until the worst human being to ever be POTUS is ousted in November!

I think Mitt will be OK.He's no Juan McLame. He knows Obama prefers to send his brownshirts out to do the dirty work, but as thin-skinned as he is it doesn't take much to provoke him. When that happens, his disdain for all the freedoms we hold dear comes out.

Another great speech. Man, it's good to see him get all fired up, finally. If he keeps this up, it will rally enthusiasm, which is so needed now.

Scoop - When you post it later, please include the intro by Kasich & the Q & A at the end.

I agree wholeheartedly. When the lady got up and said her son's business had to lay people off because of obama's policies I thought of th line:the most dangerous place in the world is between a mother and her child.

That comment about needing the IAEA was unfortunate, neither Mohamed El Baradei nor the current director Yukiya Amano have been effective in halting Iran's nuclear agenda.

only saw the last 5 mins but he was assertive and confident. I'd like to see the segment later on the person who asked about the Tea Party and form my own opinion on whether he is trying to dodge questions about it.

Sober_Thinking
Sober_Thinking

"You need to have your ear to the Tea Party" God bless that woman who told Mitt that...

He sort of dodged it and has yet to acknowledge what the Tea Party has done and is doing. This is a FATAL mistake to keep dissing the Tea Party - and he did nothing but dodge the question.

Mitt, pull your damn head out and don't bite the hand that feeds you!!!

Mike Leavitt

I hear what you're saying. I don't think it was a dodge. He said the VP will be conservative and the court will be conservative and the budget will be on its way to being being balanced. Sounds like the tea-party platform (if there was one :) ) to me.

Yay!

Hey Words, I had a heckuva day. Phones down in our county all day so we couldn't charge anyone's c.card or answer our 800#, and therefor couldn't ship to anyone due to not yet getting paid. Had a dentist appointment this morning where my mouf was once again shot full of lidocaine. Looked like I had a stroke again cuz half my mouf wouldn't work right for a couple hours after. Just as that was wearing off I had to go to outpatient surgery where a little carcinoma spot on my shoulder was removed under more local lidocaine, which left me in stitches, literally...approx. 8 of the little rascals. Still feel a little dizzy. I told them I was paying cash so the bill was 300% less than it would've been had I wanted to pay with insurance. That's quite telling right? A firsthand account of what health insurance does to rates. If the Government gets more control, no telling what will happen to fees and costs. Thanks a lot for the shout out!
