Why a person in the GOP wouldn't like her is way beyond me! She has MORE guts than anyone in the GOP!!
I just read the Newsweek post on C4Palin - Romney's team is clueless and is throwing the race before he is even nominated - stinks

My prediction: If obama wins another term it will be because the GOP by omission ignored the eligibility issue. ie: FAKE birth certificate, phony selective service card and stolen social security card, not to mention he is NOT a natural born citizen. Joe Arpaio is set to further expose the Usurper in chief in a press conference this tuesday.
I am so glad I got to go to this, but it was too hot for a lot of people. That banner that's collapsed in the middle foreground of the stage fell because the heat messed up the tape. There were several speakers before her, but they were all good, and Sarah Palin was more than worth waiting for. I also know that she, unlike Obama, doesn't see this as a personality cult. She knows that people idolize her, not because she's Sarah Palin, but because she's front and center in the spotlight, and voicing the things that we think, believe and say, but don't have the platform to effectively convey to the rest of the country, and to Obama. I'd been meaning to go back to Belleville, and her arrival was a great reason to go back. Listening to Sarah made for a fantastic day at this event.
She needs to talk more about, and be more substantially specific on certain issues and items that are not already known to the public, and what needs to be done to reverse and resolve those issues and items, etc, and so on. She is just speaking more of the same, to just make get the crowd roared up with conservative red meat talking points. This can only used for so long, and especially with a non-candidate like Sarah Palin, she is just going to turn serious political people off with too much of this type of carnival speech making.
This critique of Sarah Palin is to help her, not to put her down.
I am certainly a pro-Palin Reagan Conservative Tea Party person, but it's sad to see her not in the current Presidential race, which she refused to partake in the Republican Party Primary race for the GOP Nomination, which she opted out of last Fall.
It is my opinion that when Gov Palin speaks to a Tea Party group she believes they are knowledgeable - so when she talks about Crony Capitalism, trillions of debt, The HeathCare debacle, following the Constitution, etc. she is being specific
She did go over job numbers, some specifics with creating a workable Health Care plan
With this in mind, I thought it was an outstanding speech
Yes, but those are most already known generalized topics and concerned issues, for which she has addressed many time before.
Yes it was a good speech considering her non-candidate status.. But she needs to do more than generalize and throw out a few numbers, she needs to delve into more serious context.
She does in her Facebook postings, op-eds, etc

I haven't read any comments from the organizers of today's event in Michigan?
If you are aware of a site that shows them, please advise
Also are there any other pictures of tbe event?
I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah, Todd, Willow, and baby Trig when they brought the McCain/Palin campaign bus to my hometown here in rural Pennsylvania. What a wonderful, down to earth family! What a joy it was to shake their hands! I'm praying that Mitt will surprise us by offering Sarah his VP slot. He has to know how much American conservatives love her.
I'm green with envy.
It kills me to say this, but Romney is a Republican, not a Conservative. Sarah isn't even on his long list. He will not choose a conservative.
If only Mitt could get a soul transplant from this woman. She has it and knows how to share it with the American people. I guess it's easy, when you speak from an unshackled heart!
Great inspiring speech Sarah ! Viva Sarah!
You are right we can't even take 4 more months of barry.
What we are missing is an American that loves our Exceptional Country, is talking about honoring our Constitution, following our laws and being proud of our Military - she will ask people to join her in assuring that we "Fire" Obama in November.
Finally, will speak about the unborn and her belief in God
I'll vote for Romney with pleasure to send Obama packing, but my heart cries knowing the incredible opportunity we missed to nominate and elect a fantastic authentic conservative leader like Sarah Palin.
This was her decision and I understand, but I still lament the incredible opportunity of what we could have had...[sigh].
Say it again and I proudly second it - Gov Palin is the real deal

Is this an interview for VP ?? She is one of the few dominant voices in the R party that has not said NO or taken another job. She also does not have the "18 mo in office" think hanging over her like a lot of proposed candidates. She is also nationally know -- but has the HBO movie and McGuiness book hanging over (I'm amazed she hasn't taken these folks to court yet.)
NO, NO, NO...never again!!!
She is a leader. She doesn't do scripts well, especially corralled by others' twisted positions!
There are leaders I truly respect and think are great, (Bobby Jindal, Allen West) and who are wasted on VP. They are leaders, and Sarah Palin tops the list of people who need to lead, not take position 2 or n+1.
I do not want to see her in any campaign where she doesn't call the shots if she receives 100% assurances from Romney then yes but it will never happen he is to cautious

Keep thinking and let's hope he picks someone that believes in the Palin message of true reform

I've thought a lot about it, but I can't immediately think of any retired senator or governor who fills the bill. Pawlenty is too milquetoast and mild, and has ambitions about running himself. They need a real solid conservative like JC Watts, or that ilk, who is partially retired from politics.
I am no fool...they won't do that. They will choose a squishy moderate milquetoast candidate who will then be "the next in line" to run for president. Ugh!!
Any names that you would be excited about?

100% correct!!!
Chaney was a brilliant choice by GW Bush and Romney should choose likewise - seasoned statesman who drives the left crazy, attacks with a vengeance and has no further political ambition.
My sound is fine video mostly useless. You just see stage and it is flaky. You do hear comments from crowd maybe need camera.
Try updating your Adobe Flash, here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
That should help.
I don't know how Todd does it.
If I were married to this beautiful, smart woman I'd be inviting half of the morons in the democrat party out to the parking lot to beat them silly for the stupid, sophomoric comments that most of them make.
Really! How does he keep his temper in check.....?
I can not wait to hear from her, saw a picture of her today there, she looked Great. VIVA SARAH!
