Levin's twitter feed is on fire right now regarding 'The Architect's' claims that he worked for Reagan in the '80 election. Mark Levin doesn't remember him - and he was indeed a Reagan staffer. According to Reagan biographer, Craig Shirley, there is nothing to substantiate that claim and in fact it looks like Rove worked for Bush Sr's camp before getting fired. Oops...
Great timing, my ultra liberal sister who I haven't talked to since 2008, when she had enough of my "stupidity" (after an adulthood of arguing politics) and deemed me unworthy of her time….left me a voice mail due to a death in the family.
She then took the opportunity, in a return email to remind me that many of our relatives disapprove of my political choices, and that a Grandmother (that I never met) would most likely dislike me.
Looks like it's going to be another four years.
I also got one of them....a sister. Unfortunately she is my only sibling. She doesn't vote and is non-political, but she likes to put people down and is always bragging about her material things. I struggled a lot as a young adult and she would always rub in my face about all the things she had and what I didn't have. I'm much better off financially now and she doesn't want to hear it. She lives 45 minutes from me and I have only seen her 4 times over a six year period.
We never had a close relationship...ever. In high school, I was a freshman and she was a senior and she would tell people I wasn't her real sister because I was adopted. I was completely blown away when that got back to me. My mom said my sister has always been jealous of me and she doesn't know why she never got passed it.
I have mixed feelings about all this because I don't understand her behavior, but I don't feel a sense of loss since I never had a sister relationship with her. We shared a room, but it was like bunking with the enemy and I always kept one eye open.
I have friends who embrace me more like family than my own kin. People in my family better hope I never decide to write a book.

The older I get, the less I am willing to take - I often wonder why these kind of people like to be so hurtful?

I come from a family littered with freeloading democrats. Some of the videos The Scoopster uploads here remind me so much of my relatives. How I managed to escape that mental prison is beyond me. Perhaps I was adopted or switched as a baby...LOL!
They are miserable people who need to share the misery, inflict it on others. And you're right,the older you are the more focused you get. You know that time is precious and you will not give it to people who bring you pain.
You've got one of them too?! I too have a distant sister, we disagree on everything. But mostly...........ancient history. See, I remember the way things were, and she makes it up to fit her own version of the story. It's tough arguing with insanity. I have a medical problem of late. So she calls to wish me happy birthday (which in itself was shocking) and she proceeds to make up an imaginary woman with the same exact problem as me. WHAT A COINCIDENCE! I didn't know if I should kill her or hug her. I did neither.

Sadly, I know this from my own experience, being related to liberal family members. I can attest to the fact that liberalism and conservatism does not stem from the DNA.
I think Soopermex nailed it perfectly..... How can anyone stoop to being a liberal? I know some, but I sure don't understand them. I can't figure out what's going on in their brain. I've tried to understand some that I worked with after I retired from the Army, but after several years of trying, I finally had to give them up as hopelessly lost souls.
Again I would love to see a 2 hour debate with a panel of Limbaugh, David Barton, Marl Levin, Glenn Beck and a true common sense theologian against ANY panel of liberals. Make it a pay per view event prime time on say a Thursday night. It would be fascinating to see the truth come out! I make this point because I see the decay of our society, at this video clearly shows, and people need to hear the truth. The conservatives would absolutely destroy these people and I would not give a damn who the narrator was. It would not matter. I know the left would not agree to it, but it would be fun to watch!

To add to the enjoyment, my daughter-in-law sent me this letter to the editor of a North Carolina newspaper from a liberal who wished to be nameless (for obvious reasons). I laughed my butt off and was glad he didn't post it here, as the responses would have been hard for moderators to control.
This is what we have to combat each and every day. Is it any wonder we appear angry to them?

TO THE EDITOR:
Republicans and “so-called” conservatives are at it again. They are claiming that the Constitution gives people the right to have guns without the permission of the government. If that were true, then how could New York and Chicago have laws against it?
We Democrats are sick and tired of Republicans constantly using the Constitution to cover up their true plans, which are to make us all afraid of everyone else. Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us. I don’t know the exact statistics, but I’m quite certain that Chicago is a lot safer that [sic] Morehead City, when it comes to gun violence.
But do Republicans and conservatives listen to the voice of reason? No, of course not. All they want to do is whine and complain about how gun control and wealth redistribution violate the Constitution, as if the Constitution were all that great, anyway. There are a lot of things that need to be changed about the Constitution, I’d say, and President Obama needs to change it.
The Republicans are just trying to stand in the way, because the president is black. They even dared to question whether he was born in this country. I think all this demonstrates that the Constitution needs to be amended when it comes to the qualifications for being president. Right now, it says that a person has to be 35 years old and be a natural born citizen. Well, that is obviously unfair because there are a great many otherwise qualified people who cannot run for president because their mothers had to have a C-section. But because the Constitution was written a hundred years ago, nobody even thought of the discrimination that would result from a doctor having to deliver a baby in this unnatural way. Now that we Democrats are in control of the government, that’s just one more thing we should change in our drive to make life fair.
