actually, my bad.mike posted the exact same comments on a different thread.my comment is still there.still liked your comment.
Rshill, if you follow closely, he is one of the people he describes in his post,
and your post, which is totally accurate, just SCARES the Sh#t out of him and his cohorts, work is word that is being removed from the entitlement generations vocabulary.
However, lil mikey is going to get a real dose of reality in the near future and if he wish's to roam the streets, first protesting,
then causing trouble to achieve his goals, because the American people are fed up with the leeches that drain the life blood out of our country.
The free ride is over mikey and friends, time to CONTRIBUTE to your own existence.
Every Commission deliberates but no changes are enacted. This would end up like the Millitary Base Realignment Commission. That was a take it all or nothing deal and not in the best interest of this country. This is a smoke and mirrors sham. We should not raise the debt Ceiling. Deep but thoughtful cuts to Federal spending is the only way!!!!! I'm with Senator Lee of Utah.
Did anyone notice Boe asked God to bless the USA, but Oba asked people to pray for him? It shows clearly who is fighting for what.
We can cut entitlement programs and government services. One day the United States could be like Mexico, where a few people have everything and everyone else has nothing.
Answer your own questions people. What would happen if your dreams came true and entitlement programs got the axe? All the people who rely on those programs to survive would be homeless and starving. Then what do you think would happen? Think Columbia, or Guatemala
Do you think your neighborhoods would be safe if all the people who barely survive on food stamps were suddenly wandering the streets in search of food? Sure, if you take away social security and medicare and free education, some people will go quietly into the night, but what about all the others who find new ways to make money, like drug cartels. Trust me: what rich people get for paying their taxes is safe society. Why do you think rich people from all over the world come here? Where do you think all the rich people will take their money if our cities started to become unsafe. Hello! They'd leave. Americans and foreigners alike would go somewhere safe. Of course we could round up all the poor people and put them in camps...or jails (they tried that in Germany once, in the 30s, oh wait)
Trust but Verify is the perfect statement and we use have used it frequently with our son. Who is now a young adult. On that we agree.

I get it you dont like him, but in my view, he is a far cry better than our President.
Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here? He's speaker of the house, not a bar tender. Until he does something to disrespect his position, he has my respect.
Does anyone here believe that cutting $1 trillion like Boehner says is enough?
I certainly don't.
Maybe you should read this in regards to CC&B, it actually could have sabotaged a BBA; http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2011/07/25/the-unintended-constitutional-mistakes-of-cut-cap-and-balance/
Glad there was a GOP response because it seems that Obama keeps trying to paint himself as the victim (as always). Mike Lee mentioned in the other clip, that the POTUS is trying to create a "solution" and then force the Congress at the last minute to pass it so that the onus is on Republicans to be responsible for whatever decision is made- Someone needs to remind that maroon that it is the Congress that passes bills and then the POTUS makes the call. He wanted the job, but apparently the shoes are too big to fill and he has to manipulate himself out of his responsibility. He should have never been involved directly in the discussion in the first place.
I have to say the Speaker did a really good job tonight. I've let him know he has support from me. Encouragement from us is going to be very much needed.
DeMint was on Greta and made a comment on Reid's plan being a diversion so Boehner's plan gets passed. Both do nothing significant. We know this but I like how DeMint said it or that it was said.
Thanks for the short clip....that was about all I could take. How many times has he given the same "Republicans are evil rich bankers that want to eat your children and kill all the old people" speech- Seriously, no one needs to ever watch him speak again because we can probably recite the basic points with the TV off.
Bushe's fault, scare seniors, fault republicans..(tea party), balanced budget, tax rich, corporate jets.... compromise, compromise, compromise...same speech we have heard many times before. Boehner was good, but I wanted him to be even more forceful and call obummer out even more. Maybe take his shoe off and beat the podium..haha... don't know, but he was sincere, deliberate and yes, didn't cry. I wanted more passion, more pi$$ed off.. I am.
One of Boehner's better responses, he did manage to come across clearly and earnestly without delving into too much political rhetoric. Well done Mr. Speaker, now follow through sir!
A poorly constucted speech at best, who writes his stuff? high school students?
College Interns from Haaaavard, maybe?
You know you wanted to go to Haaavard! They just wouldn't let you bring all your guns and ammo ;)
Scoop something you may want to look at here on CC&B,the author knows his stuff
Interesting read on the potential pitfalls of a poorly written amendment. This is one of the reasons I am concerned about an attempt to amend the constitution under the current politcal environment in Washington.
We liked Speaker Boehner’s response. He came across extremely likable, and very sincere. Speaker Boehner using his small businessman background connection was a great idea and resonated with us, as I am sure it will with others. He clearly exhibits concern for the American people while standing against the Presidents socialist type policies. Frankly, it was the best I have ever seen the Speaker.
Even though I didnt watch the President ( I just cant do it!!-but I did watch clips) It was amazing that straight out of the gate he blamed President Bush. I can't believe he still feels it is appropriate to say that with a straight face. Obama came across as very frustrasted and nervous.
I would like to think I can trust Boehner and others to do everything they can to stop outrageous government. While I won't put my trust in any man, I have put my trust fully in the Lord and He has sustained our family through the hardest times we've ever had. I do pray though for common sense and Godly Wisdom to prevail in our government.
Great job! Commissions are smoking mirrors and we know it. Stay away from that. We got your back!
