In response to the Burqa incident that was part of the regular CSCOPE lesson taught to the students in a Texas classroom, I live in Houston and my three daughters went through the public school system. My reaction to this segment is complete disbelief. My questioning would not start with the teacher, nor the principal, nor the superintendent, nor the Texas State Board of Education, but rather the Governor of Texas. I would ask Governor Perry to enlighten me as to what is going on in the Texas public school system! I am terrified for my grandchildren to be educated in this manner. Grammy in Houston
Keep your kids in public schools, let them be indoctrinated into the New World Order, and just shut up about it alread. That is obviously what you want if your kids are still in public schools. Here comes the "Oh I can't afford private school or homeschool". You can afford anything you want bad enough. How much are you kids worth to you? My grandkids are out of that quagmire.

Anyone with an email account (teachers,principals,adm staff,etc)should be getting colorful lessons on Islam from a caring public.
Unbelievable......... a) public school are sick and b), we invited the Muslims to settle here in large numbers ever since 9//1/01. We have ourselves to blame and our obsession with immigration.

Islam is creeping into our public schools...it's probably already established in Detroit and the surrounding areas. Within a few years the US will have a mess on its hands as muslims start to exert political power and start inserting sharia laws into our codes.
American Law in American Courts needed in all 50 states.
The more I learn about the Muslim schools the fewer solutions i come up with. But at the very least, if there can be no Judeo-Christian values imparted in our public schools then zero tolerance for the middle eastern belief as well.
If they want to teach our kids about all religions then the good and the bad of each needs to be part of the lesson plans.
Mutilate their genitalia after they are raped and see if they prefer sharia. And I'm not sorry for suggesting it either.

I am delighted to see this site using the "older" flavor of Disqus, since I see it as **vastly** superior!! One aspect of the newer Disqus is a minor plus: it tends to better reveal how busy or dormant one's Disqus Dashboard is configured. Since I am following 43 people, with 11 following me, let's just say I'm self-experimenting with information overload ;-)
I tend to cross-pollinate ideas via several Disqus sites. For all who click my avatar, then "Activity", you'll find a cornucopia of headlines. I may only post on 1 of 10 threads, but I do enjoy making the rounds.
To my new buddies here at TRS, I ask patience of my fellow patriots. I keep getting pulled into dialogs with forums where they know me pretty well already. My heart is heavy, since I have not yet fully replied to the many kind people who welcomed me here last week. If the threads stay open, I will reply. Otherwise, I'll seek out new threads and connect there.

SCOPE has been cited before for its hidden agendas and progressive doctrines taught to students and hidden for the most part from parents. Administrators have denied the agenda and teachers have been sworn to secrecy about it or lose their jobs.

Wow, I don't know whatever gave them that idea. After all, there are so many Lutheran terrorists out there and the number of Catholic suicide bombers is just terrible. And I don't even want to know how many beheadings, stonings, or hangings the Protestants are responsible for. Face it, Muslims and Islam have a really bad public relations problem and deservedly so. To make the world think otherwise is just not the truth. All people have to do is look at the news each night to see the horrors Islam produces. A public school class certainly can't hide that, nor should it.
Actually, the msm doesn't say anything about most of the horrors ongoing every day. Check out Atlas Shrugs. It's getting worse every day. Girls maimed for turning down some guy making a pass (and blaming her for 'tempting' him), shot for admiring obama (no less), etc etc. Slaughtering a church full of worshippers in Africa, destroying homes in India, attacking a teen dance in Pakistan with ak47s, beheading Coptics and making videos of that, it just goes on and on. Every day, every hour. If the news were to be honest about it, they would not have time to televise or report it all. And most of it is worse than some of the school shootings in this country. We have violent sick individuals, with Islam you are talking a violent sick culture.

At the begining of the class one of the young women needs to volunteer to be circumcised and another needs to volunteer to be stoned to death for going to the grocery store without a male escort.
Maybe they need to see the Arab version of Swimsuits Illustrated. Not even a chaste one piece suit would be visible in those pages. Not even the kind of bathing suit my Mom wore 50 years ago.
And just how much are the parents paying in school taxes for this garbage? The parents should gather together en mass and protest in front of the school. File lawsuits. Have a "keep your kids at home day" on a Monday for Christian teachings, and fight this crap. It just riles me up. I am so fed up with that muslim in the white house.

Girls, have you read a novel called "A Thousand Suns"? It's all about burka wearing women and how they are treated, for example, a female GYN who examines you and has to use the same rubber glove she used on a dozen other patients. Or the husband who beats his wife behind closed doors where it sounds to the children "like a board hitting a slab of meat." It's really a good read but you won't read it twice and it would knock the grins off your faces.

If you are teaching Islam and teaching it in even a remotely sympathetic light then you are promoting and teaching Islam. Ironically other schools across the country haven't had any problem in this area...why is that?
As to the girls volunteering, it is of no matter. The clothing should of never been there to begin with. If one of them demonstrated how to jump in traffic by volunteering would it still be right?

What happened to the separation of church and state? This is outrageous. I hope there are lawsuits and administrators and the authors of this garbage are FIRED.
