University of Iowa Professor Ellen Lewin told College Republicans to ‘eff you’ in a nasty email. College Republicans had sent out a mass email saying they were having a conservative coming out day on campus and apparently Lewin couldn’t hold her disdain for the idea any longer.
It’s amazing to me how some people just can’t manage to find the common decency to express their dissent in a constructive manner. Of course I’m not sure a faculty member should really engage students like this anyway as it can be seen as intimidation.
I hope the school fires Professor Lewin.
