Mark Levin interviewed Ted Cruz tonight on the radio who gave us the good news that right now he’s leading statewide by 9 points in the latest polls, but he’s still getting pummeled on TV and Dewhurst has a ton of money. Cruz is trying to raise another million to stay on TV and survive through the remaining days of the election.

Cruz also explains how Dewhurst was not only caught advocating an amnesty policy more liberal than Obama’s, but covering it up when people found out it was on his Lt. Gov. website.

Here’s the full interview:

Cruz tweeted this out a little while after the interview and the Levin surge:

Good luck to Cruz. He'd have my vote if I lived in Texas, I'm stuck out here in California though and you know how that goes ;..( My congressman Duncan D. Hunter is pretty awesome though so it's not all bad.

Lets put our conservatives might on Cruz control, and help Ted win the primary and the general election for the senate in November. Let's go Cruzzzzzzing to victory...

Conservatives are on the march, and it's about time. If Obama and his minions don't think we can copy the huge success that we accomplished in 2010, they are going to have a rude surprise on their hands in November. People are really, really, angry out there and they are ready to prove it in November.

Not sure if you guys watched the debate the other night, but neither of these guys are truly conservative. Cruz's answer on building a fence across the WHOLE border is nonsensical and his only defense of that position is that national security means we should spend as much as it takes. Well, I'm sorry, but spending in the name of national security doesn't mean you should spend like a drunken sailor and waste money. How come neither of these guys asked WHY it costs $6M per mile to build a fence?

Then there was the question on the F-35 fighter which has been a total boondoggle with escalating costs. Again Cruz said he couldn't comment on whether he would cancel the project, but national security means it's constitutionally valid to spend that much.

I haven't done much homework on either Dewhurst or Cruz, had been leaning Cruz since he is supposedly the Tea Party candidate. After watching the debate, Cruz did not impress, sure he speaks better than Dewhurst, but so what... Obummer was suppose to be the best orator too. But Cruz insinuating that Dewhurst has investments in Chinese companies, then that backfiring when the moderator asked if Cruz's team found that to be the case since Dewhurst has all of his investments posted online, came across as petty and juvenile.

Only 6 million dollars a mile to build a fence? Heck, I thought the unions would charge more than that, plus make it a 25 year job!

The only way we can salvage our country is flushing one RINO at a time. Cruz will definitely take another step in that direction. With Perry attacking Cruz, I thought Texas might not elect him, but it looks like they are awake too. Good sign.

I love Cruz, I pray that he wins.

RedState has also been ringing the bell loudly about how the establishment does not want Cruz! I would donate, but every candidate that I have loses - I'm afraid to jinx it!

I hear you loud and clear - I've been really disappointed in some of the past elections also.

But the only thing that can really hurt Cruz now seems to be lack of funds to fight the Dewhurst money machine. I donated a little after his last interview with Mark and plan to give a little more this time around. I don't have much to spare but the way I figure it is that if I don't do what I can to help the best get elected now, our country will be so damaged our money will be worthless very soon.

Every little bit helps especially if there are thousands of donors.

I think the cancer in the GOP is way worse than any of us realized. Really, when you think about it, how many other Republicans other than Reagan have been worth a hill of beans?

Go Ted Cruz! If Dewhurst wins, it will be as if Kay Bailey Hutchison never left the Senate.

Sarah Palin is the closest we'll ever get to Ronald Reagan...and she, unlike our esteemed 40th president, didn't start out as a democrat.

I agree! And I cannot believe that he is the keynote speaker at the convention! I will not watching during that time! I think he is a bully and he appears that he is a RINO and as a problem communicating or connecting with people. Now he seems to be bringing attention to himself where as Sarah Palin doesn't need to or have to do that.

Dewhurst has distorted the facts and has outright lied about Cruz and its not done any good. I will cast my vote for Cruz when early voting starts on Monday.

Way to keep that great star of Texas shining bright by voting for a true conservative candidate. Let's get others to go Cruzing too!

Our household got called by a Dewhurst pollster. The answer felt even better when we found this out at the end of the call! Vote Cruz!
