I’m continually reminded that Bobby Jindal had a plan to keep this oil from coming ashore, on May 11th, a plan that the Obama administration sat on for weeks as this oil floated toward the coast. Finally on June 2nd, the Obama administration approved them.
I’ll be honest with you – this is OUTRAGEOUS! It makes me very angry to know that some/most of this oil could be held out at sea. Obama should have had tons of people out there building these berms. Instead, he was coordinating with his people to stay on message that he’s been there from day one. But all Americans can see what the truth is by looking at all these oilyfied birds.
Now it turns out that Obama knew all this would happen from day one:

Carol Browner, director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy, told Obama at one of the earliest briefings in late April that the blowout would likely lead to an unprecedented environmental disaster, senior White House aides told The Daily Beast. Browner warned that capping a well at such depths had never been done before, and that they ought to expect an oil spill that would continue until a relief well was drilled in August, the aide said.
