Tom Tancredo: Obama is more dangerous than Al Q’aida and should be impeached

I don't agree with anything Megyn Kelly said in this segment. Tancredo is right. Everything Obama is doing is to destroy America. He's definitely done more damage then Al-Qaeda just in the time he's been in office. I don't know why Megyn takes this tone with Tancredo. I think Glenn Beck has enough information just in crime inc that Obama (or most of his connections) should be in jail.

I understand your reasoning (and appreciate your wise restraint).

HOWEVER, from our Declaration of Independence, and through a multitude of documents, letters, briefs, essays and statements, our founding fathers (and THAT GENERATION of Citizens) made it clear…

THIS, FROM THE DECLARATION:

“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, (FOR CONTEXT-SAKE) — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People (NOT 'congress', the 'senate' or any other facet of 'government') to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

…and then, this bit of wise reasoning:

…wise indeed.

BUT THEN, THERE IS THIS (immediately following):

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their (THE PEOPLE'S) right, it is their (THE PEOPLE'S) duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

It is my firm HOPE that we can still follow those wise steps of REASON, and that this NOVEMBER will be a sharp turn from the Road to Perdition we are hurtling down at such horrific speed.

…it is my equally firm BELIEF, that failing that ~ we, THE PEOPLE will have to follow the rest of our founders' footsteps, where none would wish to go (but THANK GOD, THEY DID).

November will be a stop gap measure to keep the blood from gushing. But make no mistake, America is mortally wounded.

We have to repeal Healthcare and all the other entitlement programs that Federal government has no legal business being in. Do you realize how much money and Freedom we would have without them? Look at your paycheck and see all the money that you are flushing down the toilet. It's completely insane.

For politically correct reasons (and for safety reasons which are apparent to anyone who has been around the past 20 years) it will never happen.

Even if it were my opinion that impeachment should happen, I think it would be wise for the sake of the country that it does not.

People are waiting for a perceived violation or injustice to trigger anarchy. Impeachment would cause riots if it were carried out successfully. There would be riots that would be instigated not only by outside communist and anarchist groups, but the media would aid in supporting their “rightful” claim of injustice.

It would destroy the country.

Unfortunately, IMO, we have to wait until the destroyer is gone unless he is caught speaking truly treasonous things on video, and even then, the media would provide enough cover to make it difficult.

Remember- everyone that supports Obama already thinks they're victims.

Point taken- It is a point that I often forget. I think it's what makes the anger boil over sometimes and makes it feel hopeless at other times.

I understand that traditional conservatives are not alone and we are actually the majority, however, I would admit that the constant barrage of attacks by the media and just about everything else I see are effective.

I am optimistic when I am with like-minded people, but every time our politicians fail us it's like another knife in the back- and for now, our hands are tied.

Obama said that if he secures the border, there will be no incentive for GOP for immigration reform. This is really no more than an observation. It forms a basic part of the political negotiation that has gone on since the founding, and before. Obama's words, as reported by Kyl, do not actually include any statement that he refuses to secure the border.

I agree with Kelly's original statement to Tancredo. He's being ridiculous. And isn't it somewhat irresponsible to call for an impeachment on the basis of this?

Megan Kelly is brittle, shallow, and hard hitting when she doesn't need to be. Tancredo is right. Glenn Beck states that we have already lost the republic. Congress has voted itself out of the loop. The health care and financial regulation bills (1)empower the government to do bailouts without approval from congress, (2)allow the government to view every credit card purchase you make, (3)require small businesses to submit a 1099 for every purchase over $600.00, (4)empower regulators to interfere in your healthcare, (5)etc. Obama is anti-small business, anti-jobs. Obama closed GM dealerships in rural areas because rural voters did not vote for Obama. The ultimate Obama goal is to use exteme debt and joblessness to create a financial crisis, and then under “emergency” conditions to create a new world order with Obama and Medvedev at the top. No constitution, no 1st or 2nd amendments. Now there is discussion even on MSNBC about the government SLAYING Americans who have only been accused of anti-American behavior. Tancredo is right to begin a discussion of reasons for impeachment.

Impeachment is whatever the House says it is.

Just because the left loons went after Bush and some said he should be impeached for, whatever… take your pick of the quote you like best, does not mean that a tyrant like Obama who wants to “… fundamentally transform … America” from an “individualist” constitutional republic into an idiotic “collectivist” commune democracy should NOT have the “impeach the bumb” conversation started… even before November 2010.

Get the impeachment conversation into the public square and onto the public record… distract the transformer-in-chief EVERY day between today… Nov 2010… and 2012.

Use every legitimate political arrow in the quiver… even if the House is still in Democrat hands.

Get it on the record of public square discourse… for the history books.

And, if the House changes hands, GO FOR IT… 'cause Obama's statist and marxist world view MUST be ridiculed and refudiated!!!… immediately… and put on the dung heap of history as a forever testament to future young skulls full of mush… freedom is not free… protect it… “to arms.”

Tancredo is wrong about that it is the job of the federal gov't to handle immigration. The Constitution doesn't contain the word once. It does mention naturalization, but I've heard the founders meant something else than immigration with the use of that term.
Immigration is politically a state-issue.
