Trey Gowdy said that the Democrats walking out yesterday politicized an issue that wasn’t political and cheapened the House. When asked what he thought about Pelosi charging that their motives were racist, he first noted that he was called to the ‘principal’s office’ after something he said recently, but still saying that her it’s mind-numbingly stupid for her to charge that. I have a feeling it was his comment that Pelosi needs to see her doctor.

Gowdy makes an interesting point that I hadn’t caught yet that they had voted a second time last night to enable civil prosecution of Holder because the US attorney wouldn’t likely pursue criminal charges. And on that vote 8 more Democrats joined them than before for a total of 25 Democrats voting with Republicans to send this to civil court to find out what happened. That’s awesome!
