Apparently insulin and ice packs are now at-risk items for explosives and were confiscated from a pregnant woman by the TSA. A pregnant woman! She had to continue her trip without her medication and needless to say neither she nor her husband were happy about this one bit:
It’s almost a joke that the TSA says that they like getting feedback. What if that feedback had been that this woman went into a diabetic coma and as a result she and her baby had died because she didn’t have her insulin? Who would be held accountable for that? This is the ridiculousness that has become the TSA, putting people’s lives in jeopardy in the name of security.
So what are they going to confiscate next, pace-makers?
