The joint U.S. and international air strikes targeting Libya are widely regarded as a test of Responsibility to Protect (George Soros) – a set of principles, now backed by the United Nations, based on the idea that sovereignty is not a privilege but a responsibility that can be revoked if a country is accused of "war crimes," "genocide," "crimes against humanity" or "ethnic cleansing."
The term “war crimes” has at times been indiscriminately used by various U.N.-backed international bodies, including the International Criminal Court, or ICC, which applied it to Israeli anti-terror operations in the Gaza Strip. There has been fear the ICC could be used to prosecute U.S. troops.
Now WND has learned that Thakur, one of the principal authors of and original commissioners of the Responsibility to Protect doctrine,” argued recently for a global realignment.
In a piece last March in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper, “Toward a new world order,” Thakur wrote, “Westerners must change lifestyles and support international redistribution.”
The gathering of economic giants will take place at Mount Washington Hotel, famous for hosting the original Bretton Woods economic agreements drafted in 1944. That conference’s goal was to rebuild a post-World War II international monetary system. The April gathering has a similar goal in mind – a global economic restructuring.
Reporting on last year’s event, the Business Insider related, “George Soros has brought together a crack team of the world’s top economists and financial thinkers.”
“Its aim,” continued the business newspaper, “to remake the world’s economy as they see fit.”
Thakur, meanwhile, serves on the advisory board of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect, the world’s leading champion of the military doctrine.

Seems like Erdogan and his fellow radical islamists in Turkey are doubling down on yesterday's comment that Israel is a "terrorist state." I think it's time we re-evaluate Turkey's membership in NATO. They don't seem to be much friends of the USA (always remember they refused to let us send troops into Iraq through American bases in Turkey) and it looks like they are anti-western when it comes to just about everything. The coming war between east and west started on 9/11/01 with the attack on the World Trade Center. It really hasn't stopped since then, either verbally, diplomatically, or when it comes to actual warfare, as in Afghanistan or Iraq. So the big one, the final war, is still to come. When will that war be? As soon as Iran gets its nuclear weapons. Once that happens and you have the ultimate nuclear confrontation between Iran and Israel, I wonder which side Turkey will be on? Given what we've seen lately coming out of Turkey, I'll give you three guesses, and the first two don't count.
I have been worried about that ever since Erdogan took over. The Turkish government is absolutely not aligned with the West any longer and they have all the intelligence. Suicidal.
Anyone who's country is named "Turkey" cannot be taken seriously....most of it will be gone come Thursday night....LOL...only the giblets will be left unless they get used for gravy

In all fairness it has to be said that when Turkey became a member of NATO, the generals and politicians at that time kept the secularism alive, introduced by Kemal Ataturk. Turkey was not a democratic state, it was often a dictatorship, but it was most certainly not an islamic state.
All that changed when Erdogan came to power, and like any leftie, he put opposition politicians in prison, 'cleansed' the military from top to bottom, imprisoning or just getting rid of generals and the whole structure who still clung to Ataturk's ideals.
What arrogance for the weasels we have in our state department, who believe they know better than the strong men who ruled these ME countries with an iron fist, in order to keep the islamist factions weakened. They have unleashed a terrible beast.

If Israel banned the media from reporting on their mission, I wouldn't be upset. I'd be fulfilled if after Israel cleansed the region of terrorists, they issued a statement that read, " we tried to reduce collateral damage as much as possible, but this is war." That would be enough for me to believe they were humane.

You know what is so sad, is to mention the Armenian genocide, and most people have a blank look in their eyes. They don't even know what it was.
