It’s pretty interesting, and short sighed in my opinion, that a parent would let their child be used a pawn or prop for the President.
Even if it were a cause I believed in I wouldn’t let my child be paraded out in front of a National audience…

Momin, Conservatives are the RINO's I have shown this over and over. The first Republican president killed the 10th amendment in his quest to strengthen a central federal government. Teddy was a liberal who believed in Eugenics, Eisenhower started the Health,Welfare, and Education department, further expanding the Federal government. Richard Nixon started the EPA, Bush 1 brought about the ADA further strengthening the Federal Government, Bush 2 further strengthened the Education Department with NCLB. I could go on and on about the fact that the traditional Republican being a Big government liberal. They constantly talk about cutting spending but never do it. You CANNOT take a couple of Republicans, Reagan and Goldwater, and apply that to what the Republican Party IS. We had a brief time in the Republican history that was conservative. Once you understand this, it opens your eyes why they never achieve the promises they make to those who elect them.

Exactly. Being 65 years clean and sober, he should stick to his patented, "Drop. Dead." line.
