I think so, although he specifically said “I won’t mention any names.” It came on the tail end of an interview with DeMint (which I’ll post shortly), after which he was praising DeMint and said this:
“…but that’s the kind of candidate I’m looking for – a solid, conservative, solid on all the fundamentals – and who has courage. Not some blowhard who likes YouTube. I won’t mention any names.”
Well, if you heard this, then you would likely think he’s talking about Chris Christie. I do, but then you can make up your own mind. That said, it seems like Levin seems to think Christie is lovin’ the limelight a bit too much. I’ve yet to see anything from Christie that I didn’t believe was genuine, so I’m not sure I agree with Levin on this one. I think it’s just Christie’s personality.
Either way, Levin put it out there. I personally don’t think there’s anyone else he was talking about, but I’d be glad to post a correction to this if I am wrong. Full audio below:
