A little more goodness from the Madison Tea Party yesterday. A union member, who defiantly proclaimed that his union doesn’t speak for him, took the stage to stand against the unions and their thuggish tactics. He even blasted Michael Moore:

They even flew in a socialist like Michael Moore to speak on their behalf. Well I’m sorry, If Michael Moore has to speak for you you’re on the wrong side of the debate! I’ll take Sarah Palin over Michael Moore any day. She speaks the truth, her policies make sense, and she’s a lot easier on the eyes!

Awesome!

What is up with this site lately , The videos are buffered so bad yu cant even see them, Maybe yu need to work on that. I love this site. It has not been doing it. It is stop and go stop and go. Come on!!

    • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

What do you mean “buffered so bad”? They only buffer for about 5 seconds and then begin playing.

      Is your connection too slow?

uninstall and reinstall the latest flash player, and if that doesn’t fix it then check what other processes you have that are consuming bandwidth….programs that are constantly running and transmitting data like google (or even virus/malware infections).

finally, if your computer is on a router and there are game systems or other computers, phones getting internet through it- it WILL affect your speed. If you have anything slower than 3Mb/s then I’m sure it will play a significant role.

I am telling you that most Americans know what is going on AND a lot of those people elected Obama. This man is gonna get his head handed to him in 2012!

OH man, I hope and pray you are right.

I find it totally amazing how every single election MEANS something to us now, (even the state elections)

If people learn just this one lesson from the election of BO, it might be worth it.

I know and you know that any group of folks as large as some of these Union groups have folks that have to shut up or disguise who they are. They know the Union tactics are wrong, and they know it’s thuggery at it’s ugliest. I’m thankful for the secret ballot and think that many of the protesters themselves voted other than democrat. They just have to put on an acceptable face. This is how you have to act when in a communist country or dictatorship. Put that robotic look on your face and do the dirty deed so you can feed your family and keep your job and all it’s benefits.

I wonder what will happen to this guy. I love seeing him though. It’s cool to even know OF him. What a trooper.

thanks sir for having the courage to take a stand !!!!

Amen…….. If a union member to come out publicly denouncing the practices by union members and you are treated like a leper from that time on. They will ambush your property, intimidate your family and make your life a living hell at the workplace.

It take a great deal of courage for him to speak openly like that.

    That Dude was Awesome!!!

There is a national group of Union Members who are conservatives. The web site is

      Sorry, friends.

I disagree, if I owned a restaurant chain, and had a debate over who had better food, I would want Michael Moore on my side.

With that one exception, Amen, glad some in the unions are taking a stand.

  • BadgerPackerFan

Was there in person and it was awesome. A terrific line-up of speakers. Was very encouraging after witnessing so much crap at the capitol in recent months. Vigilance was a common theme; we can never be apathetic again.

  • Indy

Sir, thank you for having the courage to stand up to your union.

  • Newyork197020

Michael Moore … the guy who said of people who have money (earned or otherwise), that it isn’t theirs, but instead belongs to all of us. Will he share with us HIS tens of millions (and whatever he wins in his lawsuit against Harvey and Bob Weinstein)?

Problem is, the Republicans need someone who is ready and electable. Palin is not that person on either count. Sorry.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Dave-Kawasaki/1798183858 Dave Kawasaki

You’re wrong, NY. She’s ready and electable. She’s Reagan in a skirt, and she’s gonna kick Ocarter’s ass all over the playground in ’12. You Betcha!

      • Newyork197020

Dave … maybe you’re right that she’s electable. But honestly, I know a lot of people who are looking to vote for someone, anyone, who can get us out of this mess. Palin hasn’t closed the deal and is far from it. Maybe she’ll get her act together when she declares, if she declares. That being said, here are the concerns: 1. she doesn’t come off as fluent in either domestic and foreign affairs, even when she is interviewed on friendly terrain … 2. she is a terrible ad libber; when she doesn’t know the answer or remember her rehearsed one, she falls back on bad “folksy talk.” Not amusing, not clever, and turns a LOT of people off. She doesn’t have the gift of public ad libbing, that’s for sure. She can READ a speech, sure, but so can o-Bam-a. Why is this important? Well imagine a press conference in the East Room, or a joint press conference with other heads of state, where she would have to field all sorts of unexpected questions on a routine basis … 3. often sounds shrill (not a deal-breaker on its own, but a lot of people don’t want to hear her voice every day; she needs a coach – not to make her into something she is not, but rather to smooth the rough edges that do not serve her well) … 4. often suffers from loose-cannon mouth. Look at the current “commander in chief” … that Boston police line and others – stupid. Do we want more of that blood-libel dopiness. Just plain stupid and ill-chosen. She was trying to be clever and way overreached. Can’t do that as president. … 5. lastly, just not enough experience. Again, do we want a repeat of what we’ve got now with the inexperience factor? Should not have quit as governor. And mayor of a town with 4,000 people? There are half that many people in the building I live in. So I’ve been board president. That + some work on an energy panel + an aborted governorship does not add up. Now before you criticize, I do NOT believe that a career politician is the answer. In other words, if issues 1, 2, 3, and 4 were not issues, then she’s gold. But they ARE issues, so she is far from gold. You’ll see.

Everything you wrote is wrong. You are entitled to your opinion, but remember it is just that. Your opinion.

          • Newyork197020

Uh … and … my being wrong … that wouldn’t be YOUR opinion, wouldn’t it?

P.S. I still remember your tasteless, demeaning, man-hating comment … demeaning the size of your OWN former boyfriend’s endowment … and for which you were CENSORED and WARNED by the moderator of this site … and for which you did NOT apologize to men (and women, I might add).

            • Anonymous

My opinion is an informed one. Yours isn’t.

Edited by me to remove comment.

              • Newyork197020

In your opinion, Jaynie59, your own opinion is informed. In YOUR opinion.

And Moderator … if you were really objective, you would acknowledge that my posts have been polite, and that Jaynie59 wrote vulgarities which you yourself edited and admonished against.

Why am I not allowed to say that Jaynie59 made a man-bashing comment? Wouldn’t you allow a woman to speak out against a man who did something equally as vulgar?

                • http://www.therightscoop.com/ therightscoop

It was dealt with then and it’s done. I don’t want to see a flame war or anything like it happen in the comments. Just keep it from being personal.

                • Newyork197020

Moderator, you are being disingenuous in using the term flame war.

This started when Jaynie59 made vulgar comments. Again, you, not Jaynie59, edited the comments and warned her.

                  I have been consistently polite.

                  I bash no one.

I speak my opinion … and that’s what everyone is doing — expressing their opinion. Of course Jaynie59 thinks her opinion is informed [her own words], and abides only those who agree with her.

Your website is dedicated to conservative and traditional values. I have exercised my freedom of speech and have a valid point of view, not the least of which is because I maintain my values in NYC where I am in a small minority.

So do not lecture me and do not be dishonest. New Yorkers are direct, and this one in particular is brutally honest as well as allergic to obfuscation, avoidance, scope shifts, pandering, dumbing-down, PC talk, and double standards.

Don’t send the wrong signal by censoring MY freedom of speech when I was not … repeat NOT … the one who made a vulgar statement … ever.

OK, we get it; Palin ain’t your girl. WHO does fit your criteria for POTUS ? Come back to the conversation with a candidate you support and why this candidate will win the GOP Convention. Palin is one great messenger for TEA Party precepts. She will certainly take the b@mbs from the lame-stream media hacks and DEM-Rat attack dogs like gun-grabbing Chuckie Schumer. Electability: that is one tricky situation to predict at this point. Look to the House/Senate TEA Party Caucus’; Jim DeMint & Michele Bachmann have acted with DEEDS and WORDS….

Find a copy and watch her 2008 RNC speech. The one she finished without notes when the teleprompter took a hike. Then tell me she’s not this or that.

OK, Dave. Maybe you’re right, and all my concerns (and those of others who comprise the national electorate) will melt away between now and Nov. 2012.

On the other hand, maybe I am right … and those reservations that many voters have (re Palin) will result in another 4 years of what we’ve got now!

Until then, we will ALL be watching.

            • http://www.facebook.com/people/Dave-Kawasaki/1798183858 Dave Kawasaki

I remember the national mood under Jimmuh Cartuh. Believe me, by November America will be more than ready to listen to what Sarah has to say.
The comparison between 0bumbles and Cartuh is just too close for him to get another term.
I hope you’re wrong, because I don’t believe we will survive another zer0 term.

              • Newyork197020

I remember the mood under Jimmy Carter too. Sure, no gas lines, yet. But I think it’s worse now, Dave.

But, the country is different too.

Population shifts … traditionally of no threat to the republic because this country was founded on legal immigration, and because immigrants wanted to BECOME Americans … have taken on a different meaning with politicians pandering to groups.

Pandering to certain groups, giving them government support instead of equal opportunity, and playing the race card is and will continue to take its toll on this country. Add to that the millions now here who entered illegally … the obscene debt … the sinking educational levels and general dumbing-down … personal debt … ever-expanding entitlements for far more than we can afford … and you have a [possibly] insurmountable force for change.

So, Houston, we’ve got a BIG problem.

The population shift is going to play a key role in the direction of this country.

All the above combined forces … not to mention international politics, wars, terrorism, and unpredictable world catastrophes … do not bode well for the future of the republic.

That doesn’t mean we give up. But think about this … flash forward 20 – 30 years, it’s possible that traditional-minded people who vote that way will be a minority. Ex. many African-Americans are traditional and religious, yet they constitute a nearly solid wall of support for Obama still at this point. So this mindset – one party or ideology having widespread support of certain racial groups – can render this country a very different place sooner than you think.

                And that’s the math.

                I hope I am wrong.

A return to first principles in a republic is sometimes caused by the simple virtues of one man. His good example has such an influence that the good men strive to imitate him, and the wicked are ashamed to lead a life so contrary to his example.

Why is it people like Michael Moore that have made millions want to take away all of our opportunities and steal our money and give it to their favorites? Michael Moore is a “useful idiot”.

Agreed. Since he wants redistribution, he should lead by example. Couldn’t we all use a few bucks? How about a mass email campaign asking Moore(‘s the pity) for a contribution?
