In response to the girl who was talking about the levees in CA, you only have to look to the city that you claim to be the little sister of to know why nothing has been done. I grew up in the great state of CA and remember the levees breaking along the sacramento and american rivers and the state politicians saying that they were going to do something about it. It has nothing to do with the federal government, George Bush, FEMA, Katrina, or anything else other than Sacramento politics. As far as the people of the San Juaquin Valley killing themselves off, why should the responsibility for stopping that fall on those of us not in the area, when you who live there can reach the people better and know the on the ground issues of the area?

I admire your wanting them to look at objective facts and live within a rational reality, but remember who it is you’re talking about, lol.

Oh I know they wont, i am under no illusions that these people will see anything other than their progressive mindset.

This just confirms the stereotype that liberals are not easy on the eyes.

No need to watch. If Van Jones wasn’t a piece of pompous, socialist trash beyond the media’s ability to cover for him, which is far-reaching, then Obama would have kept him instead of firing him in the dark of night. Considering the people still left in the Admin. should give some great perspective of how exponentially radical he really is.

The first kid, the one with the man-breasts, should be raging less about BP and more about BK (Burger King).

“Social justice” is a lie! There is only justice, and anything else is some perverted notion of justice based on perceived racial/social inequities. People that use that term are not trustworthy or honorable, otherwise they’d just be talking about justice. The liberal sheeple still falling for this crap make me want to vote republican just to distance myself from their ill advised affairs…..and yes, I’m a big ole mo, that used to blindly support democrats before they became open borders, pro-islam, anti-gay, and “social-justice” sheeple for the communist progressives.
“Social Justice” IS an oxymoron, and people that use the term are equally moronic! ;0)

Social Justice is a term which has been so warmed and perverted it’s a disgrace.
Social Justice used to be a legit individualistic teaching of the Catholic church which has been bent into Marxist redistributionism.
In philosophy Social Justice is actually an entire category of social/political theory. It’s the realm of differing thoughts on how it is you set up a just society, how the burdens and benefits of a society are to be distributed amongst the population of that society. Thomas Aquinas’ Natural Law Theory was part of Social Justice thinking, along with John Stuart Mill’s Theory of Social Utility, both of which lead directly into constitutionalism or Libertarian Minarchism.

I’m not gonna lie, this was kinda hard to watch. I’m not sure exactly what the event is called at this point, but it appears to be some kind of progressive poetry ‘battle’. Either way, it’s young people spouting progressive hate-limericks at the CEO of BP, President Bush, oil production, and on and on. It features Van Jones as one of the MC’s:
UPDATE: I sent this to Jonathon M. Seidl over at The Blaze and he managed to dig up some interesting details on this :
The former Green Jobs Czar stopped by the Brave New Voices Speak Green poetry slam — a competition where “youth from around the country, ages 13 – 24, compete for the opportunity to travel on behalf of Youth Speaks to some of the key conferences and summits on the Environment to date.” The topic of this year’s event? Global Warming.
After the event, Jones spoke candidly about young people embracing the green movement as “social justice,” and how that’s been his plan for the last 10 years.
“To see young people, this new generation, they have a new vision for the environment,” he said. “They don’t see the distinction between social justice and the environment — they want to see healthy people and healthy planet. That‘s what I’ve been talking about for 10 years.”
