Apparently Van Jones is back in the news again. This time he is accepting an award for promoting a green economy. Hmmm…I wonder it that’s like the Nobel Peace Prize.

As Jones accepts the award, he confesses his ‘love’ for Glenn Beck:

On Friday night, Mr. Jones, once a “green jobs” adviser to President Obama, was in Los Angeles to accept the President’s Award from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People for his work promoting a green economy.

In his acceptance speech, televised live on local Fox stations, Mr. Jones had words for his “fellow countryman, Glenn Beck.”

“I see you, and I love you, brother,” Mr. Jones said. “I love you and you cannot do anything about it. I love you and you cannot do anything about it. Let’s be one country. Let’s be one country. Let’s get the job done.”

I don’t think anyone really believes that Van Jones has affection for the man who helped oust him from the White House. In fact Jones recently referred to himself as being the target of the politics of hate. If you listen to him talk about how much he loved being in the White House, you know that this wasn’t about affection, but about showing Beck that he’s still active in pursuing his goals. Of course Beck knows that as he’s commented several times that Van Jones works for John Podesta’s group “Center for American Progress”, which is a progressive think tank.

The elections of 2010 aren’t far from us, and I hope our vigilance is heard loud and strong as we go to the polls and try and take back our country from people like Van Jones and Barack Obama.

I don't know if anyone else realized this. When Van Jones says “I love you and you cannot do anything about it,” he is making a reference to how a black Reverend defeated the KKK Leader Johnny Lee Clary.

    Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBwIRq_hmjg

Just goes to show that all this Van Jones guy knows about is racist bullshit. Glenn Beck is NOT a racist.

  • Tyler

Oh but he IS. I mean…he calls Van Jones a COMMUNIST and Obama a MARXIST. OF COURSE he's racist. That's the ONLY thing THAT could mean.

Of course it's stupid…just like Bill Maher trying to refer to the Tea Party people as racists by “translating” their words to say “Socialist means BLACK.”

I actually kind of appreciated his movie “Religulous,” but I can't stand to listen to him speak any other topic. It hurts my ears and dumbs me down.

“I love you and you cannot do anything about it,”

That's a weird thing to say.

I'd respect Jones more if he said “I hate everything you say and stand for and you are bad for America”

How can you love a guy who gets you fired and then goes on TV everyday and calls you a Marxist revolutionary?

Glenn Beck did NOT get Van Jones fired(read: moved). Van Jones claiming the government of The United States of America slammed our own jets into our own buildings, being a SELF AVOWED Communist, and several other things got Van Jones fired. By his own words, while accepting this “award”, Jones again called Beck a racist, as “tthedd” pointed out. The man is a COMMUNIST and had NO BUSINESS in OUR White House. I don't give a damn if he's purple! Nor does Glenn Beck.

Van's got ONE thing right though. Love those who are with you, but ESPECIALLY love those who are against you.

Van…buddy…I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU, but I LOVE MY COUNTRY MORE and you WILL NOT take it away from me.

I stand AGAINST YOU AND the Obama administration WITH LOVE. I LOVE Obama and I LOVE Pelosi and I LOVE Reid…but I LOVE AMERICA MORE and THEY WILL NOT take it away from me.

Ya know…I think this wouldn't be a bad idea to FIGHT BACK WITH LOVE. Make THAT a common theme at the NEXT Tea Party rally. Let the liberal media TRY to DEMONIZE LOVE. HAHA!!

Although Van Jones received countless awards from Global Warming/Green organizations and was endorsed by Gore, Pelosi and other Cap and Tax pushers, there's not one mention of anything he has actually done. His supporters only point to his awards and Times article promoting Van Jones as, “one of the most gifted minds,”…“a national treasure,”… “created countless Green jobs.” This is where it always stops. It’s evident that all of his fiat awards were artificially bestowed and endorsed for the sole purpose of promoting their trillion dollar Cap and Tax agenda. Why wouldn’t they? The same strategy worked perfectly for Obama.

  • Tyler

Cap & Trade is MORE than just a trillion dollar agenda. It's a ECONOMY DESTROYER. Every aspect of our lives would be MUCH more expensive and the cost of living would SKYROCKET.

Talk about bankrupting a people and bringing us closer to a New World Order government. PERFECT way to do it. That's why I CONGRATULATE the hackers who stole the evidence of Climate Gate.

Jim Inhofe…MY senator…is the one who's pushing for the people who commited this great crime to be charged and brought to justice. KEEP ON TRUCKIN, Jim.

Cap and Tax is best described as a key component of, “economic suicide.” This is only one of their many clever tricks to tax us into slavery… it's, “Chains We Can Believe In.” Yesterday, the UK announced their plan to make all dog owners go through a very costly competency test in order to keep their dogs. Dog owners will have to prove that they are adequately competent… unbelievable. Although it is again being disguised as, “for Public Safety,” this is just another tax. They know people love their pets and will do anything to keep them… and because there are so many dogs…. means a huge payoff. They are eager to tax cow flatulence… so, clearly, everything under the sun is subject to taxation. It happens in the UK, Europe before the same thing occurs in the U.S. All this aside, I was trying to keep the focus on Van Jones… with the hope that someone with the proper resources, forum (Glen Beak would be ideal) would do a little digging into the numerous, unearned, undeserved, artificially bestowed Green awards given to Van Jones and further expose the Cap and Tax/Green fraud.

  • Tyler

Trust me…I'm WITH you. By all means, we SHOULD take a further look into what Van Jones has ACTUALLY DONE (being NOTHING from what I can see other than giving speeches) as far as CREATING ANYTHING.
