The outspoken military veteran, was spot on, and should be on everybody's 'cup of joe' list, and I suspect, a few would have him on their 'in closet time with candle' list, too.
Now, there is no such thing, nor has there been such a thing, until the Vietnam War, of questioning whether or not the 2nd amendment is 'relevant for today'.
We are a Nation born OUT of Tyranny, through blood and violence. That is what makes us who we are, today. Europe has really, never, been without a shackle of some kind or other, throughout its entire history. THEY DON'T KNOW WHO TO DO IT.
The 2nd Amendment, is what Progressives, liberals, and the other 'isms' fear, because it provides the INDIVIDUAL the means to look 'government' in the eye, and say, 'get fred!', and have the wherewithal to defend that statement.
This Obama fellow, does not desire for Americans to be that 'individual'. He enjoys having 'government', as God, and in the European fashion, at that.
My fellow Americans, those few words, all 27 words, say so much, that there can never be a Clintonian 'what is 'is' definition. They are, what they are, and they mean, precisely, what they mean, and a lot of Americans have shed blood, and died, to protect those words and their meaning. Every stone at Arlington is a small proof of that.
The 2nd Amendment is not arbitrary. It is concrete, as our resolve should be, also, to be a Free and independent People, unshackled from a government that seeks to enslave us.

it is definitely the imperative obligation of conservatives to debunk all the stupid and dangerous policies of the left but I think conservatives need not dance to the tune of the left as they set the agenda or the topic to be discussed in everyday news cycle. because by doing so conservatives always are in a position of defense by default. a better way to fight back is to set our own agenda or policies to be discussed, taking on the offensive by shifting the discussion to news that put the left on the defensive or bad light and unless very necessary, do not repeat the left’s spin, rhetoric or manipulative phraseologies intended to obfuscate their ulterior and nefarious motives.

Quinnocchio a letter asking him how many Firearm Owner ID holders have gone to jail v. Chicago aldermen and how many NRA and ISRA leaders are in prison v. IL governors. He did not reply.

I don't know what Obama is but I do know he would join any 'organization' that he thought would benefit HIM.
What part of "shall not be infringed" do leftists not understand? Obama's assinine speech yesterday was the same monologue echoed by Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and numerous other dictators and quite boring. He may think that he's the cat's ass and I would agree with part of that, but he's just another small, petty little man whose 'fundamental change' is to control every moment of our waking lives and this isn't going to happen.
We need God more than ever, our strength and Faith in Him restored-to come back "HOME" and we need the strength, smarts and to come together more than ever. The Love that binds, Love of Country and each other. We need to have the Light of GOd's Love fill in and push away the darkness. We need to get rid of the bad apples.
I hope this guy is no longer in the military, for if he is, he will be brought up on charges for wearing his uniform to this event. The ONLY people that can wear their uniform and SPEAK OUT are those who attend gay parades, this is Obama's Immoral America.
He is a brave individual, but he will probably be less than honorably discharged. This is sad, for he is a true patriot.
I don't think that's a jacket, it looks to me like a flight suit (I've worn a few of them). It's not a 'uniform' in the strictest sense, it's more like work clothes.
If you look real closely at one of the long shots, you'll see a blue belt with a gold buckle, his flight jacket would cover that.
You could be right, I'm just making a speculation. I live in Florida, I don't think about weather below 40 degrees. ;-)

While listening to this veteran, one can see the commitment forged by his strength in something bigger than himself. You find strength in the oath you take as a soldier, you find strength in knowing people from all walks of life sacrifice to protect the rights of those that aren't capable of protecting their rights themselves. All Airmen, Marines, Sailors and Soldiers give up so much to protect these rights. Perhaps this air headed educator; and I use the term educator loosely, should remember that through the training and use of fire arms, the rights of all were won and are protected, even today. Tyranny never rests, and neither can any patriot rest or relax their guard or dare think these freedoms we have will remain past the day we give up the means to defend them. God bless all freedom loving people, God bless all that put themselves in harms way to protect these freedoms, God bless our veterans and God Bless The U.S.A. God bless us all. It was and is a privilege to serve this country in any capacity I can or could. Honor can be shown by wearing the uniform, standing as old glory passes by; or leading students in saying the pledge of allegiance. Any effort by anyone to the principles that keep freedom free is something worthy of praise and sacrifice. And thank you, for your kind and humbling words.

A red-blooded America-loving Soldier who has endured the hell-holes of Islamic culture, faced enemy insurgents, false allies and bombs, land mines and live enemy fire, is not going to be afraid of a room full of metrosexual Chicago political activists and their Alinsky tactics.
Every one of us has to take to heart what that Vet said and how he said it. If we do not stand up and raise absolute Hell every chance we get then it is over for the 2nd amendment and it is over for freedom. Period, nothing left to say after that.
Except to stand up and raise hell about it ALL. Set one date in February in Atlanta and another one in April in DC, the first one rallies/speeches and the second one for a long march/demonstration for impeachment. People will come with ALL of their ideas. Has to be done.
