Vice President Joe Biden’s Memorial Day Speech UPDATE: Obama’s Speech Added

Vice President Joe Biden’s Memorial Day Speech was excellent and awesome in the same way that Obama’s speeches to the Military aren’t. /Douglas Adams

There was one point that Biden says something like, ‘You will maybe might I hope you will I promise.” And while that is something Biden often does it only happens when he goes off prompter. This means he was speaking from the Heart when talking about the pain families feel when they’ve lost a loved one. If Obama were to say something like this it would come out as, “They Captured the imagination. . .” Barry, you’re such a slimy good-for-nothing-except-to-our-nation’s-enemies I can’t take it!

There was also one point that Joe said that one of the nation’s perils was the rising gap between the rich and the poor, but from what I can recall that was the only lefty thing that slipped in. Everything else was on the mark.

To put it plainly, this speech was very pro-military, pro-serviceman, and pro-honor. Obama should take notes.

Update: Now compare to Obama’s speech

I have to ask, does no one working for The President know how to read a weather map? Ya know, like the National Weather Service, Department of Defence, NORAD, Chief of Staff, Intern?
