Video: Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin disagree over Eric Massa

This is a tough interview, but I will say that Beck apologizes profusely in the next segment. I’ll post the audio of his apology shortly.

    Thank you for mentioning the apology, there are people all over twitter right now spinning this like The Enquirer would as some sort of all out bloody war, when really it was just an exasperated disagreement between 2 people fighting the same battle from different angles.

    I think Beck spent a little too much time during his apology railing on his critics, but he did apologize to Michelle Malkin. Hopefully his phone apology will smooth things over.

    This incident is like having your two best friends fighting with each other. You don't really care who is right, you just want them to be friends again.

    Do you think that maybe Glenn is burning himself out? His facts have been a little fuzzy lately and his attack on Michelle was rather harsh in relation to the point she was bringing up.

    There has been a change in Glenn, my heart which adores Glenn by the way, has been picking up a change in him, I would say for the last 2 months or so. He seems less real or maybe burnt out. What once looked like a river just flowing, now looks like a preconceived and well thought plan. It's becoming somewhat empty for reasons which I can't seem to explain. Just maybe he wants to lead to much, instead of being himself with us.

    I adore Glenn too. He mentioned his frustrations when he apologized to Michelle. Ever since the CPAC speech, he has been getting loads of flak from conservatives who don't agree with his approach. And I think the frustrations bubbled over when he was talking to her. I saw the whole thing on Insider Extreme, and I saw Glenn's face when he apologized. I could tell he was sincere. I hope this will blow over, and I think it will. I just got through listening to Stu and Pat on “The 4th Hour” and they also said that the interview with Michelle “did not go well”, but they did not dwell on it.

    Glenn will get down to the bottom of what is really happening, and it is good to get more information on what is really happening under the dome. Massa may be a snake like Michelle is saying and if he is Glenn will bring it out with some real abrupt questions that will definitely bite. I trust Glenn's judgement on this matter and I believe Michelle needs to trust Glenn's judgement. If she thinks the interview wasn't as good as it should have been then she can give comment. On the other side of it I believe Glenn also needs to inquire with Michelle's knowledge of where Massa measure or doesn't measure up to what he said yesterday about the Obama administration or about himself.

    1/2 hour into the Beck/messa show I wrote on facebook that the show was a waste of my time and that Beck should apologize to his audience. Obviously we all know that he did so at the end… wish i could pick lottery numbers with such clarity. Now seeing this interview it confirms to me at least that beck has rendered himself a great author or book promoter and great things to think about kind of dude. Other then that id say he has successfully removed himself from areas where he once ruled. I will watch him and listen and most likely contuine reading the excellent books he promotes but I can easily say I lean less and less on his personal views on many topics. Unlike the Leftists and commies us on the right can take the parts we like and dismiss the other stuff in the same person.
