Inspector General Walpin was illegally fired last Wednesday night because he was getting too close to something that the Obama Administration got nervous about. What makes this illegal is that because of the nature of what an Inspector General does, the President cannot fire him without 30 days notice and a reason for his firing. To date, neither of those things have happened. UPDATE: The Obama Administration sends a letter to Congress.

What else is going on behind the scenes? Kudos for Glenn Beck for airing this and also to Laura Ingrahan who interviewed Byron York on her radion program Monday 6/15.

There have been several to cover this, but I was really glad to hear from Walpin himself. He seems like a fair man. Now, let’s wait for the outrage over this along with hearings and public shammings.
