Mr Obama surely needs to inform himself on all the illegalitys Ex President Zelaya was doing for the sole purpose of breaking the Honduran Constitution due to the fact that it does not provide for his re-election. He wanted to break the constitution so that he could have a new one done exactly as the one in Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador.The country would have been turned into a Hugo Chavez province. The Honduran people as a sole have prevented that ill purpose to become a sad reality, USA and all the world must support the current honduran president as to ensure the honduran people freedom and the celebration of a presidential elections to happen on November 29, 2009.

Thank you, Mr. Krauthammer. The international community and press seems to deem our ex-President's views as carrying more weight than that of our representative Congress and our Supreme Court.

We never opposed a referendum. What we disagreed with the way in which he wanted carry out the referendum all by himself, which would lend itself to manipulation of the results to his benefit, his disdain for the other branches of government and his irreverence toward our Constitution itself.

One thing to clarify: this was not a coup. The armed forces arrested Zelaya on orders of our civilian authorities, and the succession of power was carried out as our Constitution mandates.

The country is polarized in this issue, however I believe that the Honduran congress and military did the right thing since ex-president Zelaya was leading in the wrong direction the country.

Dear Mr. Krauthammer, Thank you and thanks good for your words, You are the only one who knows what's really going on.
Zelaya is a disciple of Chavez,and he had plans to stay in the in the president for ever, and eliminating the congress and the supreme court, and all children over 3 years of age have to be under the guardianship of the government
The citizen of Honduras are proud of the Armed Forces, The Congress, and the Supreme Court, VIVA HONDURAS

I have lived in Honduras for two years. Every single Honduran I know supports the “coup.” I have never been on the same side of an issue with Charles Krauthammer. But he's right about this.
