I would agree. I think there are lots of people who are coming to that realization. I think they have to take responsibility for not listen to the warnings that were prevalent during the election, however. Most notably I think of Christopher Buckley who I thinks is a very smart man, but was totally bamboozled by Obama.
Obama voted 3 times against the “Baby born alive act” which would have prevented hospitals in Illinois from letting babies from botched abortions die in utility rooms rather than giving them life saving aide. Pleas forgive my passion on this.

I try… I really do. The only thing I can pray for him is that he do no further damage (he is running the country after all) and that he begins to live and act righteously. My concern for the destruction he is leading us into outweighs any concern I may have for him. Although I get your point that I should pray for his salvation as well… which, if he accepts it, will influence the country as well.

He couldn’t have been any clearer, RS. I really think he was just pouring out his heart in that interview. And I hope he does get out there and campaign against Obama in his black community. I teach a nursing class (usually about half black, half white) and we got into a political conversation one day when a student admitted to the class that she voted for Obama “because my family was just so proud that a black man was running.” I said to the class, “If I were to tell you that I did NOT vote for Obama because he is a black man, would that be racist”, to which they all chimed in “Yes!” I continued, “then if you voted for him because he is a black man, would that be racist”. After a moment, they all again chimed, “yes”. It ended up being quite an interesting conversation. Hard not to get off into politics sometimes with everything going on. And in my class – in Illinois by the way – I’m hearing a lot of dissatisfaction with my black students about Obama’s lack of keeping his promises.

African Americans will never be motivated enough to start their own companies as long as they hold onto the belief that prejudice is keeping them from success in starting new businesses.
In fact, it is this very belief that will enslave them once again, along with all other races of people.
Think about it. When you buy a new product, do you even know who invented the product? Do you ever care? When you really like a product, do you ever ask yourself “I had better check to see if a minority invented this because I refuse to support a minority owned company?”
The whole idea that prejudice stops African Americans or other minorities from succeeding is so ridiculous, it is hard to fathom. It is a crutch that gives minorities a temporary moment of relief, but over the long term keeps them from becoming successful. How can I say so?
I started my own company 7 years ago. I spent 3 years on my first company and worked full-time 16 hour days for 7 days a week. It failed!
I lost money on the deal primarily because I worked so many hours for free. Lessons learned! I dusted myself off and went to work on company number 2! It is now 4 years later and I still work 7 days a week and 16 hour per day.
In the past 7 years, I have had almost no vacations and the few that I had were small and inexpensive so that I could preserve much needed cash. This time, I have found some success! I still have to work hard, but it is only this year that I am actually able to take an occasional weekend or evening off. Being an entrepreneur is hard – very hard!
Those who have not tried it, including the President himself and most of his cronies, have no clue how hard it is! Try being the management, the marketing, the production force, the accountant, the receptionist, the legal department, the IT department, etc. You can not even imagine how stretched thin you are at the start. It takes years of massive work to build momentum.
But I would not trade the experience for anything! It is your own company! It is something you created from your creativity, hard work, and tenacity. There is nothing more thrilling that you can experience except perhaps marriage and children!
Nothing is free in life! If anyone reading this thinks I would ever put forth the same effort in a communist or Marxist country, you are a fool and a coward. If you do not believe me, then have the courage to try it yourself. Only those who are employed by others would ever think entrepreneurship is easy.
Many talk about how Zero’s policies are stalling job growth. Well folks, I am here to tell you that they are absolutely correct. I would be adding probably around 10 jobs this year alone to my company were it not for Zeroes Marxist ways!
There is absolutely no way I am hiring anyone, except the bare minimum staff until I feel strongly that THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY SUPPORT ME AND MY EFFORTS TO CREATE NEW JOBS AND WILL PRESERVE A REWARD FOR ME FOR MY HARD WORK! If they will not, then I will shut down my company and join a Union to do my part to demonstrate what happens to a people that turn their backs on those who are productive.
Jealousy is an ugly emotion that does not go unrewarded!

I’m glad she brought that up during the interview because it was obvious to me that she had some kind of chip on her shoulder with Alford and I was wondering why she was so rude to him. She’s almost as bad as Bill O’Reilly when it comes to sucking up to liberals, so her attitude towards Alford was puzzling until she mentioned Thomas.
It never ceases to amaze me how many conservatives don’t seem to understand liberals at all. I hope she follows through with the introduction. She should keep in mind that all liberals are either uninformed or misinformed.

I am always happy to hear a former Obama supporter jump the Hope and Change bus, but I still harbor frustration towards these people who voted for Obama for absolutely ridiculous reasons, and by doing so, have caused so much disaster for my country. This man basically admitted he is a racist, which is why he cast his vote for Obama. I just have a problem with this stuff when after the fact, the same people come running to my side (the conservative side) and start talking the same talk I’ve been talking for years. I’m just as black as Obama is, and I’ve spent just as much time around black people, considering I grew up in terrible places like Highland Park and Detroit (MI), before moving away from those environments, into places like where I am, now (Plymouth Township). I don’t care how much people try drumming their “culture” or beliefs into your head, its still up to you, as to what you do with that. I had anti-white racism drummed into my head, and it never took. I had an anti-Reagan hatred drummed into my head by supposed “Christians”, and it never took. They tried pushing on me the spurious concept that because I was black, I should be supporting Carter and the DNC.
You see how well that took: I joined the Army and probably became my family’s first HARD-RIGHT REAGONITE Conservative. This punk, Alford, is doing nothing but blowing sour grapes, because he’s not receiving his pirate booty from Big Daddy Obama. The blacks that voted for this political and economic illiterate saw him as President Payback, and stupidly believed he would just turn the Earth into the Black Planet. Whites, Asians and everybody else stupid blacks believed to be their enemies (because they tended to do better than they did in schools and the private sector) would be turned upside down and shaken, and all their money and possessions would fall into the laps of the poor, downtrodden blacks that had to wait through centuries of oppression by everybody else on the face of the Earth, to finally get their 16.18 hectares and a mule (that’s 40 acres to the metrically impaired). Had Obama’s poorly-formed, not-thought-out, and downright idiotic master plan actually borne fruit (especially for turds like Alford), do you really think he’d be complaining?! Like Mark Steyn said, yesterday, sitting in for Rush, the US is, more than at any other time in it’s history, being ruled by an elite, drawn from narrower and narrower lines. Alford thought that he’d finally been chosen to be eligible to be one of America’s new elite. Well, he thought wrong, and that’s what people like him get for thinking.
If I had a show, I probably wouldn’t even talk to Alford, unless I could really jump his ass, tell him what I really thought about what he was doing/did, and see if he had the chin to take it (which he probably doesn’t). Otherwise, I have no use for his kind.

I have a democrat in-law and we can’t talk politics.Alford may be a hypocrite, racist, and when he found out he wouldn’t be riding obama’s wave he turned. Right now the important thing is that he turned, hopefully he will be able to reach the Blacks that will continue to vote for obama because he is black, and they do exist. I think it is VITAL that when someone around us says, “Man, voting for Obama was a huge mistake” that we don’t BLOW it by attacking them as idiots and giving them hell.
I’ll admit, it’s the first thing I want to do, but I am trying VERY HARD not to do it anymore. Ego’s are involved here, and you could very easily drive them right back into Obama’s camp. Just one wrong look, word, or stare could do it.

The Republican Party was created in 1854 to combat the threat of s l a v e r y ‘s extension into the NEW territories, and to promote more VIGOROUS MODERNIZATION of the economy.
Abraham Lincoln was the FIRST Republican to run for president, and won in 1860.
Before that it was the Whigs and the DemocRAT Party.
And by the way, the DemocRAT Party was the party of the S L A V E OWNERS.
And It hasn’t changed ANY since then.

In one of the most honest answers I’ve ever heard to the question of ‘why did you vote for Obama’, Alford said he voted for Obama because he was black and that it was the worst mistake of his life and a lesson he’ll take to his grave. Wow! He added that ‘hope’ was part of the reason he voted for Obama, but then referring to Obama’s policies he said what I think would be a great campaign slogan:
Hope isn’t hiring. Hope isn’t lowering the price of gasoline.
He even referred to Obama as a Marxist and even through in the word ‘brown shirt’. Wow again!
If you don’t have much time skip to the 4 min mark of this interview. But make sure you listen to the end as he goes into much more detail about his change of heart and also slams Al Sharpton as being as a paid-for-lackey of Obama.
