Walid Phares says Iran behind latest Hamas attack and Egypt likely won’t attack Israel

Walid Phares believes Iran is behind the latest Hamas attack in order to distract from both pressure on its nuclear weapons program and from the Syrian rebellion. He also believes it’s fairly unimaginable that Egypt will take any military action against Israel, but does believe they will be part of the negotiations to ratchet this down.
