No dude, this is the Glenn Beck that I LOVE! It was a great speech from top to bottom. This is what made me sign up for his radio show and insider extreme. Great speech!

I haven't been to any NRA sponsored event (just joined last month) so I wonder what goes on there.

All Conservatives need to understand what is happening within our government, and the changes and power grabs that are going on. Most of all, I think they need to understand that they need to be active and fight for their rights, or they will be forcibly taken away. That's what I got out of that speech.

This was mostly strong.

Glenn did a much better job of explaining his positions on Miranda rights. It seems clear to me that , if used correctly, they can just delay the mirandizing until after interrogations…but they will still be mirandized and protected by law. The stuff Kagan was suggesting is ludicrous. We don't need new legislation giving government new powers. I just wonder is Glenn is familiar with law, because a lot of people think that someone can't get a fair trial under current law without Miranda. Hugh Hewitt disscussed this earlier this week, and he's a conservative lawyer. Essentially… you can interrogate without Miranda but you can't use that information in trial.

I'm with Glenn on opposing new laws…disasters make bad law. It's too reactionary.

Strong speech, though. Glenn really gets the crowd going, doesn't he? I think his non-party approach wins over independants and moderates…which is strangely good for conservatives. Independants and conservative Democrats are becoming more constitution-focused and willing to cut government. This will either lead to a real conservative party…or two stronger parties. Which would be even better.

I agree, RS… this man is very humble, but the current Constitutional revolution that is taking place is only possible because of him. He woke us all up and let us know that we are not alone.

I like Glenn and have watched his show (on the Internet these days) since he was on CNN Headline News. However, there is at least one thing about him that puzzles me. He says that he is against debt, yet he has said on more than one occasion that he himself has debt. He makes a fair amount of money, so why wouldn't he just buy a plain bungalow with cash all at once instead of having a mortgage with interest? He is just wasting money paying interest unnecessarily.

I WAS THERE! I was one of the ones with my head in the sand. I love guns and I love our constitutional right to bear arms! But I didn't realize all the stuff that was actually going on. I figured that the government could never take away our constitutional rights. How I have ever been so wrong. This was a rude awakening for me. I have been in Law Enforcement for 6 years since I was 21. So you think once we turn into a unconstitutional gun ban country that I'm going to patrol the streets with a stick while all the unlawful citizens are still carrying guns? I don't think so. My father, one of many disabled veterans, has served his time and fought for the freedoms of this country and suffers his disabilities everyday for it and he continues to feel that it was all worth it. Now the Obama administration wants to take our disabled veterans disability benefits away from them? and give them to who? O yea the lazy asses that don't want to work that get free housing, money, health care and gets to go grocery shopping on the tab of the blue collar workers. I would be better off quitting my job and I might be able to afford groceries for my family.Then you have all the spoiled Brats from this country that have no idea of love for our nation and the blood that has been spilled to give them the rights that they have now. I say, if you don't like it here move the hell out! Then you have the idiots from other countries that want to put there own 2 cents in that have no clue or interest in our country but to see it fail. I love my Country and I will continue to fight for it! I WILL use DEADLY FORCE if you try and break into my house, I will use DEADLY FORCE if you try to hurt my family and I will use DEADLY FORCE to protect my freedoms!!!

I believe when he states he is against debt, he is speaking of government debt, at least thats what he was talking about one time as I was listening. Of course it may be the taking on of debt that one cannot afford. But he has kids, they tend to be debt magnets lol.

Beck is awesome. Can you even imagine where we would be without his courage!?! (Not to mention the courage of his wife and family.) Most of us are constantly barraged on twitter, FB, myspace & everywhere else by leftist goons. If they come after US with such a vengeance, it's not difficult to fathom how they terrorize Glenn and his family. He and FoxNews deserve our everlasting gratitude and support.
