I have to admit Ron paul comes off very Jeffersonian. It's attractive especially contrasting him with Santourm. Santourm really irritated me tonight. He's a neo con, which explains why he is so aggressive towards Paul. Bachmann did not do that good. Newt was mature, and made the attempt to rise above it all, but he's still a progressive republican, and I don't trust progressives at all (Closet globalists), but I think he did well. Huntman was weak, and only said one thing tonight that I took favor to, and that was his attack on the EPA. The EPA is a big part of the problem. Romney is always weak playing the safe card. I got the impression the mods put a vail around him. Cain is simply a businessman, and we need more than that. This isn't a company. This is a government, and government is the problem.

And if you want an immoral America, vote for Ron Paul.

I don't buy that. We already have an immoral America. Bert and Ernie are about to wed, and do bong hits.

I think Cain, Santorum and Gingrich were good. Bachmann and Romney were okay. Huntsman and Pawlenty are toast. Ron Paul is a wild card. I thought he was awful on everything except the economy and even then I wasn't really impressed. But he's got a VERY dedicated core base that inflates his polling numbers, so he'll remain in the picture for awhile.

WTH kind of a question was THAT to Michelle Bachmann?! Would you submit?! Because she believes in the Biblically correct way of marriage- holy smokes! Would any of these people submit to muslims? Because if any of you people who are side stepping THAT issue, you just might find out! Am I the only one who is disappointed in this whole debate?

Unless 90% of the questions were releated to the Economy, Taxes, Entitlements or Jobs then it was a Waste of time.

From what I can tell (did not watch it at all) based on external reports alot of the questions where "gotcha" questions, like Gay issues for Bachmann, Foreign Affairs for Paul, etc

I seem to remember that someone asked Mike Huckabee about wives submitting to husbands 4 years ago. He explained that husbands were also supposed to think about what their wives needed and wanted, too, and that marriage works best when both people are considerate to each other. Not surprisingly, the questioner was unable to understand this concept.

It's getting annoying to hear Pawlenty go after Bachman- so much.

Naw...no big headed OReilly in either one of them.

They're Cavuto interviews...and mostly all business.

The one about food prices is great!

An' I can't take credit for "prolly"...it's been around for years.

Even tho that's how I tawk sometimes, I rarely use it when I type.

Haaa.

But it looks kinda gurlly, so...use it at your own risk, Rbear.

Thanks, RS...I hadn't seen that one.

And thanks for the links to those articles...I'd seen the first one, but not the other two.

Wull'ell...that's prolly why yew understand whut I'm saying when I type stuff here.

Haaaa.

Yeah...I have to admit that I am a bit jazzed about the news that Perry is running.

He doesn't seem to mess around.

Did you watch those two videos I posted on the Perry thread?

I really don't think he had any intention of getting into this.

But things started getting so bad, so fast...that his wife said 'get your butt in there and help our country'.

Effin brilliant, Rshill....frilliant.

Hey.

You're from up Nawth.

How do you think Perry will do with folks who are a little put off by that cowboy accent of his?

To me, it sounds normal cause I was raised around it.

[Even sound kinda like that m'self.]

But to folks in other parts of the country, it can be cringeworthy.

Bush was a transplant to Texas.

So his accent was a bit different.

Perry's accent and his ways, are the real deal.
