West defends accusing Democrats of supporting “insidious forms of slavery”

This is a great interview with Allen West. They cover a lot of topics at a pretty fast pace from the budget all the way to Afghanistan.

But what I loved is that when West was asked about comments he’s made recently, attacking the Democrats for supporting “insidious forms of slavery” in pushing economic dependency, he didn’t back down. Instead he stood by his comments, backing them up by noting all the dependency he sees in Atlanta, the place where Martin Luther King Jr. grew up.

He was also asked about Rush Limbaugh’s recent ‘slut’ comment. He said it was wrong, but pointed the finger right back at Bill Maher and his campaign donations to Obama’s Super PAC, pointing out the double standard on the left.

Here’s the full interview:

NOTE: The interview only runs for 12 minutes even though the video runs for 20 minutes.
