Why does CNN treat their viewers like children?

I couldn’t believe this when I saw it. I kept wondering “do they think we are stupid, that we need little avatars to help us understand the health care bill?”

Unbelievable. If FNC ever did this they’d get a piece of my mind:

    Yeah, this stuff is awful. CNN also has some weird fascination with social networking websites. If I have to listen to Wolf Blitzer talk about Twitter one more time, I'm going to scream.

    And they call this reporting. Gee I would not have understood without the cute pictures. So let's see, she says doctors don't need to be upset because medicare payments will be reduced – and the reason is that doctors will get twice as many patients and work twice as hard to get less for it. There not already overworked. Gee without the pictures how would I have figured this out.

    Mostly Democrats and Liberals watch CNN so I would say yea, they think they are talking to stupid people….:)

    As to why they treat their viewers like children, I would presume most of CNN's viewers are children. That's their second largest demographic, behind airport travelers.
