***UPDATED: NEW PHOTO***

If you haven’t seen Newsweek’s current magazine cover, check it out. But this is the cover they should have run this week:

Consider this your open thread for today.

UPDATED: Considering some of the comments, I decided to go with a better photo. To see the old version, click here.

They should also add AxleFraud to the picture and name it Dumb and Dumber!

The scary thought is that it's Valerie Jarrett who's in charge

of the decision making process in the White House. Odd, I

don't remember seeing her name on the ballet.

I would even line my pigpen with newsweek.

didn't newsweek have a cover saying 'the wimp factor' about GHWBush? he was military...he was tough...he's still tough...and romney's a wimp? who has the double degree from harvard? who took the risks in the business world?

obama is the wimp...just watch him throw a baseball or ride a bike...

No, this photo is only third best. Number one is Obama attempting to ride a (womens') bicycle and number two is him attempting to pitch a baseball.

Show a pic of presbo throwing a baseball...says it all.

Stacy McCain points out that Newsweak (my term for them) lost $20 Million last year. When it was merged into Tina Brown's publishing empire, that group was already losing gobs of money, and is losing at least $10 Million a year itself.

This is what we call firm belief in "deficit spending your way to success." The folks who run the whole thing get rich, while everyone else associated with the enterprise starts receiving IOU's instead of paychecks, and the businesses that supply paper, electricity and ink have to deal with un-returned collections calls.

That used to be called "fraud." But in Obama's world, fraud and debt are the new standards for success. Just keep the graft funds rolling into the White House, and you'll be a star!

(EDIT: rong grammar)

I guess that's all Obama and his minions have left, calling Romney names. Well, I have a name for Obama that nobody in the mainstream media is using these days, and that is SOCIALIST. Obama is one and not enough people recognize that fact. People may call Romney a wimp, but the public knows that it's not true. But if you call Obama a socialist, people will just acknowledge that as fact, and that will hit Obama hard.

Either way, it is appropriately titled. There is no way Obama wanted to offend Muslims by killing Bin Laden. Remember, he's been to Cairo but never to Israel.

On 89X they were asking the stupid question of who do listeners believe they could beat in a fight, with the majority (leftists, considering the listeners tend to be liberal, concentrated in Scumland [Detroit] and Wimpland [Canada]). Naturally, they say they can take WILLARD. This, to me, is more of their desire to attempt to hurt him, than their real belief that they could. Neither strike me as the type that would hesitate to really run from conflict, considering they're both military service dodgers, but Obama is definitely not the type of father I'd want, if somebody was coming after me, and I was still dependent on my parents for protection.

p m
p m

Canada is Wimpland?

I think not. Canadian troops had proportionately the second highest loss rate in Afghanistan, 2001-2009.

Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper is the ONLY Western leader who is unequivocal, and vocal, in his support of Israel. Example, here: http://pm.gc.ca/eng/media.asp?category=3&id=3769&featureId=6&pageId=26

There is nationalized medicine here, nothing like as bad as the UK but not great either, and inroads against its proscriptions are succeeding, glad to say.

And, finally, the 9/11 terrorists didn't get to the US from Canada. They used the special visas granted to Saudis by the US Government.

The Conservative government here, like the few others in the world, is hardly far right. The sad fact is that the legacy of Liberal rule in Canada, which extended for far too long, has many Americans still seeing us as a 'wimpish' country.

Could go on, but these are the first and most obvious refutations.

Yes and look what the wimp is doing to our businesses?

GE Moving from Wisconsin . Keep your eye on Waukesha , Wisconsin .......Their biggest employer just moved out. General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha , Wis. , to Beijing . In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year, but paid no taxes - the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States . So let me get this straight.

President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on

job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the

President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating

those jobs. Thanks Jeff, you're a "real" American....give Barrack our Best!

If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I

don't know what does. Please pass this information to others and think about

it before you buy a GE product.

For Snopes verification of this information, go to:

In addition, GE was scheduled to move before Scott Walker was elected Governor so just in case anyone wants to blame Walker they would be wrong.

I beg to differ Grace, I think Obama told Immelt exactly where to create jobs, and he is following his instructions to the letter.

Seal Team 6 got Bin Laden and what exactly did Osama Bin Lying get? A mulligan from Newsweek. Obama is Casper Milquetoast, the leader of the Dhimirat choom brigade.

I liked the photoshop of the pic where Obama is sitting off to the side in the room with the grownups during the op. All they had to add to make it doubly hilarious was add a bag of golf clubs sticking up next to his chair.

Don't do that to me, Scoop. I looked at the picture, clicked on the Romney link, and when I came back, the picture had changed. I thought, my God, that man really is a chameleon.

On another note, I have 50 cents. I wonder if I could buy Newsweek? Think of all the great articles and pictures I could post.

4 bits would probably do it, Nuke. After all, the new owners/management purchased it for a buck a couple years ago.

Judging by the comments on the cover at Newsweek it is easy to see how we got stuck with Obama as president.

The Obama Newsweek cover might have given that magazine a modicum of credibility. The Romney cover is laughable when when he has to seek Valerie Jarret and Michelle's approval for every Alinskyite decision made. Think back to those photos from Martha's Vineyard with cute little helmet riding the girls bike or the picture where he is hanging drapes with Michelle supervising. Obama is the first metrosexual-in-chief we've had. Newsweek, you lost me many years ago as a reader.

stevenbiot

He's a political opportunist. Obama doesn't think morally about anything he's done at the helm. He blames America for everything bad about the world and never credits our country with the good we do for the world. After he ordered the killing of Osama, I'm sure he called every Arab dictator to tell them he would bow down an extra inch when he visits each of their countries, for his politically motivated assassination of the porn addicted, marijuana farming bin Laden.

toongoon

Muslims don't care about a dead muslims, they feign outrage sometimes because they know we care. Obama can get away with killing them with drones all the time with impunity. If one of their leaders is dead they just find someone to take his place. Muslims are all about death, it's what they live for.

Insult a dead prophet though, that's where they draw the line.

Funny isn't it, how African Americans mimic Islamic apathy to the wholesale murder of their own children in Chicago?

You see liberal, communist Democrack blacks rummaging through the piles of cadavers looking for one that got it with a white bullet. Then they drag it out like dogs who stumbled on a rotting bone and prance and pimp in public like a cat with a dead bird, inducing nausea in their nauseating rituals of rage where they don't even have "concern."

Justice for Trayvon? How about justice for 400 blacks murdered by their brothers in "Black Death City" this year?

Where's your sense of justice now? Dig up those bones, racist bigots!

"No, I didn't actually say/mean that" will be engraved on the front steps of Obama's Presidential Library.

"Let me be clear, I didn't mean what I actually said in front of that audience" is jockeying for second place.

Nukeman60
Nukeman60

I think the words on the front steps of Obama's Library (which will have 4 books in it, Rules for Radicals, The Little Blue Book, and two of his biographies), and will be the size of a telephone booth, will say this:

"You didn't build this. I built this. I did. I."

C'mon now, you know a copy of the US Constitution will be there as well. They'll use it to wedge open the door in case more than one person at a time wants to get in.
