I watched the whole speech he gave to Muslims at the Muslim conference (as posted here http://www.wnd.com/2012/07/u-s-lawmaker-model-public-schools-after-muslim-ones/) and to me the scary part was just after the 16:45+ mark when the congressman said that "brothers and sisters in the next few months you're going to hear commercials, multiple commercials, that are going to try to tie brothers like myself and president Obama to Islamic terrorism..." If my recollection of English grammar is correct, he just included Obama as a brother Muslim in this statement. Check it out for yourselves and see if you hear what I heard.

This is the reason many believe it is not in the best interest of our country to have muslims in political office.
So maybe we can get schools run at the local level by the towns and counties they are in and even perhaps...dun dun dun....based on the Bible. Basing a school on the Qua-ran is ok but don't even think about the Bible right??
I'd love to hear how the atheistic left would respond to this guy wanting schools modeled after Madrassas whose base is the Qua-ran.

This would normally end the career of any politician, but since he's both black and a Muslim the mainstream media won't touch this with a ten foot pole. The peaceful Muslims travel the world and help people survive tough situations, give them money, guidance and love. There's nothing to be afraid of with Islam. Sharia Law is the most merciful law ever written, so we should let Islam adopt our kids in the schools to teach them the nurturing ways of life.

The only thing I agree with Carson on is, there is a large percentage of the public school systems that are failing miserably. Especially where the labor unions are parasitic in their desires to achieve their goals at the expense of the students. The main theme I heard about the Wisconsin attack by the unions on their school systems was, "What do you expect when you turn your public school systems over to a labor union." Something to think about.
I always chuckle when I hear knot heads decrying Christians for "indoctrinating their children" into Christianity.

The public school system is a cesspool. Atheists run them, islamics want in on them, and homosexuals are teaching sex ed in them!

LOL, she has had two since our conversation. I have sent her a couple of eye opening videos on islam. One with Bridgette Gabriel talking about the isalmic curriculum being taught in many of our schools where they have kids be muslim, and teach al qaeda propaganda to them.
Yeah, cause it would be so awful if we taught our kids to be like Jesus!
I know an athiest who said to me (before she had her kids) that her biggest fear was someone trying to teach her future kids about Jesus.
I just said, "You've got to be kidding! You're concerned that someone will tell them to be like Jesus....treat everyone as you would like to be treated?" Then I told her she might want to be more concerned with an ideololgy (islam) that teaches we should be killed.
No kidding, because libs are catering to Muslims and it won't be long before they will kiss their boots and give in to suggestions like this.
